Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Boumalne Dades

Marrakech - The 4-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with an early pick-up from either the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech.

• If your accommodation is not accessible by car, the driver will meet you at the nearest parking area or at Jamaa El Fna Square.

• Pick-up is scheduled for 8:30 am.

High Atlas Mountains - Journey through the captivating High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, which stands at an elevation of 2,260 meters (7,415 ft) above sea level. Stops will be made for panoramic views of the stunning landscapes and Berber villages.

Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Proceed to visit the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a former caravan stop between the Sahara and Marrakech. The Kasbah has been featured in numerous films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV series like Game of Thrones.

Ouarzazate - Known as “The Gate of the Desert,” visit the Atlas Studio from the outside, where famous movies were filmed, and also explore Taourirt Kasbah.

• The entrance fee to Atlas Studio is 8€ per person (a guide will accompany you through the filming sets, providing essential information). The studio tour is conducted in groups as organized by the studio.

El Kelaa M’gouna - An annual Rose Festival is held in May, celebrating the blooming flowers. During this time, locals offer rose products, including perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics.

If traveling in the off-season, the driver will stop at a rose cooperative to give you a glimpse of local activities.

Boumalne Dades - Arrive in Boumalne Dades. Depending on the schedule, you may visit additional sites in the Dades Valley, where your hotel or riad is located.

Boumalne Dades - Todra Gorges – Erfoud - Merzouga Sahara (Camel Ride + Overnight in a Luxury Camp)

Todgha Gorge - After breakfast, enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Dades Valley. Continue to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has carved a magnificent canyon through the mountains. Enjoy free time to explore the spectacular canyon.

Fossiles d’Erfoud - Visit one of the fossil factories and learn about fossils dating back hundreds of millions of years.

Merzouga Desert - Arrive in the afternoon at the Merzouga Desert. Leave the car and switch to camels to cross the Sahara to your camp. A stop will be made to enjoy the stunning sunset atop a high dune. Then, continue to your luxury camp, where you can enjoy Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire under a vast, starry sky.

Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedars Forest – Ifrane – Fes

Errachidia - Depart from the desert and drive along the Ziz River, stopping for a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley.

Midelt - Take a lunch break, either in Midelt or nearby cities, depending on your preferred lunch time.

Azrou Cedar Forest - Continue to the cedar forest, home to Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed them while exploring the forest.

Ifrane - Visit Ifrane, known for its alpine-style houses, cool temperatures, and snowy winters, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.”

Fes - The tour concludes with a drop-off at the airport or your accommodation in Fes.
