Koutoubia Mosque - The Koutoubia Mosque, located in Marrakesh’s Djemaa el Fna Square, is a landmark and the largest mosque in Marrakesh, Morocco. The meaning of the word
mosque
is the place where one bows down in a prayer. Consequentially, a mosque is center of religious life in Islam. Built during the Hispano-Moresque period, characteristic of simple yet masterful craftsmanship and luxury, The Koutoubia Mosque is argued to be most beautiful and proportioned mosque in the world. -
Saadian Tombs - The older mausoleum houses the remains of the dynasty
s founder and Sultan Ahmed el Mansour
s parents. The main mausoleum, which contains the body of Sultan Ahmed el Mansour, is the more attractive of the two mausoleums. Built during the sultan
s lifetime, it showcases the incredible skills of master artisans. Sultan Ahmed el Mansour
s sons lie to the sides of his tomb.
There are 66 tombs between the two mausoleums, containing princes and other prominent figures.
- Bahia Palace - The Bahia Palace, meaning brilliance in Arabic, is perhaps one of the best-preserved historical sites and certainly most interesting in Marrakech. Built between 1866 and 1867 by Si Moussa, this sprawling palace is set over two acres in the middle of the Marrakech medina and features 150 rooms, including a harem section located just off the sun-filled Court of Honour. Great trip with amazing Guide - Amid was amazing, tailored the tour to me, helped my buy a few things in the souks and negotiate a very good price. Had a huge amount of knowledge about the city and it’s history.

Marrakech city tour - Was lucky in that although booking a group tour it turned in to a personal one as only I was booked on the tour, Rachid was very knowledgeable about the history of Marrakech and although we walked a number of miles he only felt like a couple. He is able to show little hidden gems like the communal bakery amongst other subjects, for any one wanting to make full use and to see as much as possible of Marrakech without getting lost I thoroughly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Rashid you will have a great time

marrakesh city tour - booked this tour the night before. it stated that there was an air conditioned bus included. our guide said was very good, but be aware this is strictly a walking and private tour. the temps were over 90 degrees. please revise your description of this tour viator. that is false advertising
