Amazing tour with Abdul! - Abdul crafted an interesting and thoughtful tour based on what was important for us to see. We wanted to see more than the souks and were interested in the history of Marrakech. It was like a friendly and engaging professor telling you about his town. We loved the experience and felt so much more knowledgeable about Marrakech after the tour. I highly recommend Abdul, he was simply an outstanding guide!

Abdul Brought Marrakech to Life - I cannot recommend this trip enough, we met up with Abdul on our first day in Marrakech, we had some reservations before we arrived in the city, however an afternoon with Abdul and we fell in love with the place.
Abdul's knowledge and personality made the afternoon a fantastic introduction to Marrakech, we wound around the old city covering all the main areas along with areas you just would not have found.
We came we a few shopping needs, one was a carpet for our house, from the youtube clips, this can be a daunting task, Abdul took us to his friends who worked with us with no pressure and grace, again we would never o found this great shop owner without him.
If you do two things whilst in Marrakech, take this on your first day and head to the mountains with Abdul, I'll save that for separate review.

The best tour of Marrakech, hands down! - My sister, a friend and myself partook of the "Marrakech Hidden Sides" tour for our first ever time in this city and it was *outstanding*. We were introduced to secret nooks, unforgettable people, age-old traditions, went behind the scenes at the souk and saw other Marrakechi ways of life that we would never have been otherwise privy to, on a standard tour. Our guide Abdul grew up in the Red City, he *is* Marrakech, and knows its winding streets and alleys like the back of his hand. He is a clever, informative and patient individual, taking his time with us and being patient in answering our many, many questions!
I have traveled to dozens of countries around the world, and this tour was easily one of the best I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. Not only did Marrakech became easier for us to navigate, but we were able to garner a deeper understanding of its remarkable nature. Should I ever have the good fortune of returning to the Red City, I will look no further than Marrakech Guided Tours. Thank you again, Abdul!

Architecture, religion, art and culture all in one tour - We greatly enjoyed this private walking tour by Abdul, a life-long Marrakech resident. He did a combo arts and crafts and hidden sides tours. We learned and saw so much more than wandering on our own. We went off the tourist path in the souks to see the artists at work. Highly recommended!

A truly enriching and authentic experience in Marrakech - We were lucky to join Abdul for a guided walk of about 3.5 hours — and it turned out to be a true highlight of our stay. Abdul guided us with great knowledge and kindness through the maze of alleys and hidden corners of the Medina — places you would likely never find on your own as a regular tourist.
What made this tour so special was not only the historical context and smooth communication, but above all the feeling of truly gaining insight into the daily life of the city. Abdul intuitively understands what his guests are interested in, adjusts his narrative accordingly, and answers every question with enthusiasm and depth.
What we especially appreciated was that the tour didn’t feel like a commercial “walk through the souk”, but rather like an authentic encounter. From watching local artisans at work to stumbling upon a surprisingly beautiful viewpoint — Abdul manages to fully immerse you in the spirit of Marrakech.
We can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover this fascinating city in a respectful and meaningful way. Thank you, Abdul, for an unforgettable afternoon!
