- Jardin Majorelle - The Majorelle Garden, developed over forty years, is enclosed by walls and features a maze of intersecting paths, layered levels, and vibrant Art Deco Moorish structures. This garden is a lush and grand collection of exotic plants and trees from far-off lands. In 1980, Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, who first visited Morocco in 1966, purchased the Majorelle Garden to protect it from a hotel development that threatened its existence. The new owners chose to reside in the artist Jacques Majorelle’s villa, now called Villa Oasis. Please note that tickets for the Majorelle Garden are exclusively available online.
- Koutoubia Mosque - The Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, is situated in the southwestern district of the medina. It features curved windows, a ceramic band, pointed merlons, and decorative arches, along with a spacious square with gardens, and is illuminated at night. The minaret stands 77 meters (253 feet) tall and includes an arrow and orbs. It was completed during the reign of the Berber Almohad Caliph Yaqub al-Mansur (1184-1199) and inspired other structures like the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat.
- Bahia Palace - Bahia Palace is regarded as one of the grand palaces in Marrakech, also known as the Red City. Built by Minister Ahmed bin Musa in the 19th century to honor his wife, “Bahia,” it is now an artistic masterpiece showcasing the splendor of Moroccan architecture with Andalusian influences, rich in historical secrets.
- Saadian Tombs - Situated next to the Kasbah mosque, the Saadian tombs are among the few remnants of the Saadian dynasty, which ruled during Marrakech’s golden age from 1524 to 1659. In the early 18th century, Sultan Moulay Ismaïl sought to erase the dynasty’s grandeur by destroying its remnants, yet he refrained from desecrating their graves and ordered the necropolis entrance to be sealed.
- Menara Gardens and Pavilion - The Menara Gardens are one of Morocco’s most appealing tourist destinations, particularly for locals seeking to enjoy nature and escape the summer heat. In Marrakech, the Menara Gardens are a beloved spot for both locals and tourists, offering a delightful retreat and a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy the beautiful Moroccan environment.
- Theatre Royal - Opened by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, alongside Majesty Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, this establishment remains a source of pride for the people of Marrakech.
- Gueliz - Located in the modern city, the district of Guéliz is one of the areas that, even outside the city walls, draws residents and tourists due to its vibrant energy.
