- Jemaa el-Fnaa - Situated in the historic medina of Marrakech and recognized by UNESCO, Jemaa el-Fna Square is a key cultural hub in Marrakesh and has been a city emblem since its establishment in the 11th century. Throughout the day and into the night, a variety of services are available, including dental care, traditional medicine, fortune-telling, preaching, and henna tattooing. Visitors can also purchase water, fruit, and traditional food. Additionally, there are numerous performances by storytellers, poets, snake-charmers, Berber musicians (mazighen), Gnaoua dancers, and senthir (hajouj) players to enjoy.
- Koutoubia Mosque - The minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque is a quintessential example of Almohad architecture and Moroccan mosque design. Standing at 77 meters (253 ft) tall, the minaret is adorned with various geometric arch motifs and crowned with a spire and metal orbs.
- Bab Agnaou - Bab Agnaou is a monumental gate that reflects the grandeur of the Berber Almohad dynasty, which established its power center in Marrakech in the 12th century. Flanked by two cannons, it is one of the most impressive gates in Marrakech.
- Saadian Tombs - This site was selected for its proximity to the significant Kasbah Mosque, dating back to the 1100s. The fifth and final Saadian ruler was responsible for constructing many major buildings within the Saadian Tombs complex. He built lavish mausoleums in equally opulent structures, using materials like imported Italian marble and gold, along with striking tilework known as zellige, plasterwork, and woodwork. The entire complex exudes beauty.
- Mellah - The Mellah of Marrakech, formerly known as Hay Essalam, is the Jewish quarter of Marrakech, Morocco, and the second oldest of its kind in the country. El Mellah has always been a district of trade, with Jews bringing salt, cash, and gold, while other countries provided products not found in traditional Moroccan markets. Today, Jews are rarely present, but these products continue to be sold.
- Bahia Palace - One of Morocco’s most extraordinary imperial relics, the Palais Bahia (“the brilliant”) is truly impressive. Constructed in the early 19th century by architect El Mekki for Si Moussa, the chamberlain of Sultan Hassan I, the palace features a variety of architectural styles reflecting the chamberlain’s playful spirit. His son later inherited it and added his own touch of flamboyant glamour.
- Souk Semmarine - Souk Semmarine is a vibrant shopping alley primarily featuring merchants of fabrics, souvenirs, and crafts, along with unique Moroccan antiquities. It serves as the entrance to specialized souks offering spices, carpets, fabrics, slippers, and more—a true Aladdin’s cave.
- Medina of Marrakesh - The medina of Marrakech is a Moroccan medina, the historic core of the city. The medina’s districts may be named after a nearby gate, a zaouïa, a mausoleum, a mosque, a palace, or a cemetery, a traffic route, or a traditional name. The Marrakech medina also hosts the city’s souks.
- Le Jardin Secret - Medina - Marrakech - The origins of this complex date back to the Saadian Dynasty, over four hundred years ago. Reconstructed in the mid-19th century at the request of an influential kaid from the Atlas Mountains, Le Jardin Secret has been home to some of Morocco and Marrakech’s most significant political figures.
