• Koutoubia Mosque - An initial mosque was likely built shortly after the Almohads captured Marrakech (around 1147), but it was reconstructed due to incorrect alignment with Mecca.

The current mosque was completed in the 1150s.

Its name, “Koutoubia,” is derived from the word “kutubiyyin,” meaning “booksellers” or “book vendors,” as a book market was once held nearby.

• Bahia Palace - The Bahia Palace is a 19th-century architectural masterpiece, designed to embody the grandeur of Islamic and Moroccan art.

Its initial construction began between 1866 and 1867 under the direction of the grand vizier Si Moussa, with the creation of the northern part around a large central riad. The complex spans approximately 8,000 m² and includes up to 150–160 rooms, connected by several courtyards and gardens.

The Palace quickly became a princely residence, housing Ba Ahmed, his four wives, 24 concubines, their children, and numerous servants.

• Jemaa el-Fnaa - Final return to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square: The tour concludes at the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where visitors can enjoy the lively atmosphere of street performers, food stalls, and local artisans.
