5 Star Experience - Hassan and his crew were fabulous teachers. Really enjoyed the history of the Moroccan tea and truly appreciated the traditional homestyle cooking. This was our first cooking class and we hope to found more as informative, entertaining and absolutely delicious as this one. Definitely a 5 star experience!!!

Can recommend!! - Thank you for a wonderful experience, taking us through traditional Moroccan cuisine as well as culture! Hassan and Ahmed are both lovely people, and you can tell that they love to share. It was no issue for them to accommodate to vegan options and also asked about allergies before going shopping.

Book with Hassan! - Would recommend taking a cooking class with Hassan! He was easy to get along with. Hassan and his business partner did a good job of including everyone. Every dish we made was delicious with it being some of the best food we had in Morocco. There’s something for everyone and they do a good job of accommodating to any food restrictions.

Marrakech cookery class - The trip started off with a visit to a vegetable street seller where we were asked to choose ingredients. We then head a short walk to a property with a large open plan kitchen space. Our guide explained what we were cooking then we were shown how to make Morrocan mint tea which we drank too. We were all given chopping and peeling tasks as a group. Once the prep was complete each dish was prepared by worth food explanation of how to make them and shown how to cook on gas hob. Once complete the The whole experience was inclusive and fun and the guide had lots of information about Morrocan food and also Marrakech itself. Once the food was ready we are the food. The smells were amazing and this is a great way to enjoy a good Morrocan meal.

Tasty, interactive and cultural cooking - The class was great fun. 10 of us learning about Moroccan cooking, tea and a great way to make yourself a yummy dinner. Food turned out to be some of the tastiest we ate in Morocco. Great for beginners - everyone got to prep and cook - but also good for more experienced cooks as Hassan was a wealth of knowledge. Great way to spend a half day in Marrakesh

Amazing experience - Our cooking class was more than just learning recipes — it was an immersion into Moroccan culture and tradition. From the moment we stepped into the kitchen, we were welcomed with warmth, hospitality, and the rich aromas of spices that tell stories passed down through generations. We learned how to prepare traditional Moroccan dishes using fresh, local ingredients, guided step by step with patience and passion. Mixing spices, slow-cooking tagines, and understanding the balance of flavors gave us a deeper appreciation for how much love and history go into Moroccan food. What made the experience truly special was sharing the meal together at the end — enjoying what we had cooked, tasting the depth of flavors, and feeling connected not only to the cuisine but to the culture itself. It wasn’t just about food; it was about tradition, community, and the joy of cooking together. A beautiful experience we will carry with us long after leaving Morocco. Thank you for having us 🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳

Great experience - We are about 10 , good mix of family and solo travelers. We prepare 4 tagines and 2 side dishes that is on menu of the most restaurants (Fairy typical, no surprise). Host speak English and French and the class proceeded with bilingual explanation. It was nice atmosphere and the final result was quite good (I would say it taste better than what I had in a restaurants). A great way to spend half a day. A bit of different cultural experience with a good meal in the end. We supposed to receive recipes after the class but I have not received it yet after 24 hours.
