• Riad 9 Derb El Bousnne - After gathering at the pharmacy, there will be a brief tour of a nearby local market to purchase vegetables and all the necessary ingredients for cooking.

Following the market visit, the group will head to the house, conveniently located just a few steps away. The first activity will be learning to prepare fresh mint tea, which will be enjoyed together while getting acquainted.

The cooking session will begin with the dish that requires the longest cooking time, allowing it to simmer while preparing other dishes. Everyone will collaborate as a team to create a variety of dishes, providing an opportunity to learn beyond just one recipe. Typically, different tagines will be prepared, which may include vegetables, chicken, beef, or meatballs. Couscous is also made during the workshop, but it is preferable to specify this before the class. The class is adaptable to accommodate dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.).

Once the cooking is complete, there will be time to savor and enjoy the prepared dishes. After the session, recipes for the dishes made, along with many others, will be shared.

Join our cooking class and enjoy a unique experience while visiting Marrakech. This 4-hour experience will not only improve your cooking skills but also teach you more about Moroccan culinary traditions and history.

Before the cooking starts, we will have a tour of a local market to buy the vegetables and all the ingredients we need to cook. Afterwards, we will have a fresh mint tea while we get to know each other.

The next step is to start the cooking process, where travelers learn new techniques for peeling, chopping, and seasoning the tagines with the right spices, as our grandmothers and mothers do at home. While we are cooking, we will talk in depth about Moroccan cultures, traditions, and history.

Travelers will work together as one team to make different dishes, and this helps them learn more dishes than just one specific dish by using different spices and Ras El Hanout.

At the end, it is time to taste and eat what you have cooked.
