Walking guided tour of the old town. - We did the walking tour with a lovely group of people and a great guide taking us to the tombs, bahia palace, showing us many sights and sharing history as we went. We had a lovely lunch and then ended in the medina and having a little time to explore on our own before meeting up again and heading back to the transport provided. We felt safe and comfortable with our guide helping to make sure we were not taken advantage of whilst purchasing from the souks. I believe he was called Safi (sorry if I have the name wrong, I'm terrible with names, he's in the pictures) all in all me and my mum enjoyed the experience. Was a long day of walking but an incredible experience we wouldn't have done on own. Would 100% recommend. We booked through jet2.

Enormous must see market - The main medina/souq/market is a must see part of a Marrakesh visit and is enormous. Miles of alleyways lined with stalls/shops selling virtually everything. Overall the place felt pretty safe but as always keep close hold of your bag and valuables. Haggling is fully expected so be prepared to bargain hard for the final price. There are specific areas for spices, vegetables, etc, so leave 3-4 hours for a good look round. The main open square also has snake charmers and other entertainers. Lots of restaurants and food stalls throughout the market.

Lost but happy - A charismatic and unique space. Whether a tour, shopping or something specific, the media has its history and characterizes the city. Always pay attention to shopping and try to lower the prices they present to you! At least 50% down, currently you can already use google to count prices or locate where we are, but loses the joke. The turn and the only one is that we persevere in the beautiful medina and negotiate anything. Have fun and enjoy...

Wonderful medina - It's the best experience you can have in Marrakech, a maze of alleys full of shops offering all kinds of products that this wonderful country offers. Tasting the flavors, smelling the smells, admiring the colors will make you fall in love with this place, surrounded by the presence of thousands of vendors always avid but also respectful and kind, as long as the tourist is too, because they do not let anyone put their feet in the head, always ready to bargain

Medina - When you go to Marrakech, you have to go to the Medina and Jemma el Fna square absolutely. And obviously make the Souks

Unbearable Scooters - Used to Marrakech, the ride in the souks of the medina becomes increasingly hellish by the countless presence of scooters that go at speed with noise and pollution. Medina is to be done early in the morning

Animal abuse - PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THE MONKEY AND SNAKE KEEPERS The Medina is vibrant and full of interesting markets, but the constant harassment from locals makes it hard to enjoy. The worst part is the mistreatment of animals in Jemaa el-Fnaa square- monkeys are chained and dragged, while snakes appear lifeless, likely drugged. Tourists taking photos fund this cruelty, so please avoid engaging. While the Medina has its charms, the aggressive atmosphere and inhumane animal treatment are hard to ignore.

Horrible. - Experience totally ruined by the over-representation of 2 wheels in the streets of the Medina. It's impossible to stroll or stop because you have to be on your guard all the time. There is an urgent need to ban motorcycles/cyclos in this place

Tourist... stop paying for animal abuse! - Crowds, scooter chaos and lots of abuse of animals (monkeys, snakes). Cross over? A crosswalk is not respected anywhere and neither is a red light. Big chaos but the animals are in the worst shape. People should stop paying a penny to this. Only then will it stop!
