Tourist but always exotic - We feel that the place evolves with tourism but the medina will always bring you a change of scenery due to its bustle

Beautiful - Excellent walk in the medina. A real maze, full of shops full of souvenirs, colorful spices, pretty kaftans, craftsmen... Kindness is their main qualities. Do not hesitate to negotiate, they are very accessible. Just watch your cell phones. We were very happy and serene.

Very lively spot, the henne shop was great! - I visited the MÈDINA and I stumbled upon the nicest Henne spot in Place Ben Salah Rue Azbezt Medina Marrakech Zara and her team were extremely hospitable and friendly offering my wife mint tea and cake. The journey with taxi was hellish, so stopping off was lovely! I came back to see the wonderful work on my wife’s hand. She was over the moon with the finished design The service and price was reasonable, what was also great was the natural home made products available! So we bought some to take back home! In a city full of madness the tranquil spot is a must go destination It’s really near the photographic museum so I would recommend a visit for the guys! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 10/10! I would suggest this spot, not in main of the MÈDINA but great if like to explore

WALK THROUGH THE MARRAKECH MEDINA.... - Very interesting but the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul is more organized and with more variety of offers. I do not agree with the Monkeys and Snakes in the Great Square of Marrakech because they martyr them caged in very small boxes.

Afternoon shopping in Marrakech - Taoufiq (‪+212 662‐267147€) accompanied us throughout our afternoon, he allowed us to avoid being approached and to help us negotiate prices. We highly recommend it

Too much walking. - We were dropped off quite a long way from the shopping area, it was hot and too far to walk for me, the streets are very narrow, and you get hassled constantly, which I expected, We got left alone in the square by the snack charmers and monkey touts. I was not very impressed.

Bittersweet - Extremes abound here. On one hand the place is simply fabulous with its gorgeous stalls, handcrafted products, smells and lively crowds. Our experience at Dal Essalam was nothing short of sublime and we thoroughly enjoyed the location and the maze of the medina. On the other hand there is much to dislike. The mopeds/scooters are a cancer for old medina. They should at least get fined for their ludicrous speeding in the crowd. They are extremely dangerous and i can't imagine how many people are injured pr worse every year. Also, like many others, I am BEYOND furious about the animal treatment and the chained monkeys that are somehow allowed. I can hardly express my rage at the sight of monkeys actively pulling on their chain, gnawing and fighting their enslavement. I dont understand how Morrocans disgrace themselves tolerating public cruelty. Dishonor and disgrace, that's all it is, and locals should ask themselves what it says about them.

Sad - I don't mean to lash out, but the earthquake did too much damage. The Medina is no longer frequentable. Damage is visible. I'm sorry but I can't help but warn that everything is very difficult. Be careful.

Medina and mopeds - So polluted by mopeds sneaking into the souk, he has the courage to ban this mode of transport.
