Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Ait Ben Haddou - Begin this 3-day desert journey from Marrakech to Fes by crossing the Tizi N Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains to reach the village of Ait Ben Haddou for a guided tour of the Kasbah. This remarkable fortified village (Ksar) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, continue to Dades Valley via the desert gateway city of Ouarzazate, also known as Moroccan Hollywood, and the palm groves in the Skoura oasis.

Day 2: Dades – Toudgha Gorges – Merzouga – Overnight Stay with Camel Ride

Merzouga Desert - Explore the Dades Valley and Tinerhir to witness Todra Gorges, Morocco’s highest gorge, which is 20 meters wide and over 300 meters high, perfect for a 20-minute hike. Todra Gorge, located in the eastern High Atlas Mountains, is renowned for rock climbing in Morocco. Continue the 3-day desert trip to reach the edge of the Merzouga dunes. Later, enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes with a camel guide and spend the night in a nomadic tent at the camp. Relish an overnight stay under the stars, experiencing the authentic desert and its music.

Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech via Draa Valley

Draa Valley - The Draa Valley is a breathtaking oasis featuring Berber villages, magnificent Kasbahs, flowing sand dunes, verdant plains, snow-capped Atlas Mountains, endless palm groves, and the Draa, Morocco’s largest river.

Anti-Atlas Mountains - The Anti-Atlas, also known as the Lesser Atlas, is a mountain range in Morocco running parallel to and south of the central Atlas Mountains of North Africa. While it has an average elevation of 5,000 feet (1,500 meters), some peaks and passes rise above 6,000 feet (1,800 meters).
