Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

Marrakech - Departing early from Marrakech, the journey will lead through the High Atlas mountain range, offering breathtaking views and glimpses of Berber villages nestled in the mountains.

Ait Ben Haddou - Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most renowned kasbah, featured in famous films like “The Mummy” and “Gladiator.” Perched on a hill, the views are stunning. A local guide will share the history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Ouarzazate - Lunch will be enjoyed in Ouarzazate, often referred to as Hollywood Africana due to its numerous film studios.

Dades Gorges - Post-lunch, the journey continues to the Dades Valley, revealing more spectacular landscapes. Several stops will be made at scenic viewpoints, and there will be a tea break before reaching the riad.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Tingdad - Efroud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert

Dades Valley Activities - After breakfast, the morning light illuminating the Dades Valley will be admired.

Todgha Gorge - Arrival at the Todra Gorges, a magnificent canyon carved by the river, allows time for a leisurely walk. Lunch will be at a local restaurant, and the journey will resume promptly to catch the magical desert sunset.

Erg Chebbi - Upon reaching Merzouga, a dromedary caravan will lead into the heart of Erg Chebbi to witness the sunset over the dunes. At the bivouac, guests will be welcomed with tea, followed by a delicious tajine dinner. Camel drivers will entertain with bongo music and storytelling around the fire.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Nkob - Draa Valley - Agdez - Marrakech

Merzouga Desert - An early wake-up call from the camel driver ensures witnessing the spectacular dawn with its golden and orange hues from the high dunes.

Rissani - After a refreshing shower and hearty breakfast, the journey continues to Rissani, a prominent village at the desert’s edge. The mausoleum will be visited, and if it’s market day, there will be an opportunity to explore the local market.

Alnif - Passing through Alnif, the journey reaches Nkob for a lunch stop.

Draa Valley - The journey through the Draa Valley offers splendid landscapes, with stops at panoramic points to appreciate its beauty. Passing through Agdez marks the beginning of the “Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs.”

Marrakech - The evening concludes with a return to Marrakech.

Adventure in Morocco: High Atlas and Sahara Desert
Day 1: High Atlas and Berber Villages
Depart at dawn from Marrakech towards the High Atlas. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, kasbah and UNESCO site, have lunch in Ouarzazate, and continue to the Dades Valley with stops for photos and tea. Arrival at the riad for a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Todra Gorges and Sahara Dunes
After breakfast, explore the Todra Gorges, have lunch with typical dishes and head to Merzouga. Join a dromedary caravan in Erg Chebbi for the sunset. At the bivouac, enjoy tea, dinner and Berber music around the fire.
Day 3: Sunrise in the Desert and Return to Marrakech
Wake up early for sunrise over the dunes, breakfast and visit to Rissani, mausoleum and local market. Have lunch in Nkob and cross the Draa Valley with panoramic stops. Return to Marrakech in the evening with spectacular memories and photos.
