Begin the journey at 9am, heading towards a valley located 30km from Marrakesh. This valley is predominantly inhabited by Berbers and gradually ascends to the peak of the Moroccan Atlas. Despite its proximity to Marrakesh, it remains a relatively preserved area. Visiting this valley offers the opportunity to explore breathtaking nature and experience a traditional way of life. The route includes a stop at Tafza, home to the Berber Ecomuseum of the Ourika Valley. This museum highlights Berber culture through a collection of photographs, pottery, jewelry, carpets, and textiles. After the museum visit, the journey continues to Setti Fatma, the last accessible village by paved road. This quaint village serves as the starting point for numerous mountain excursions. The most popular and accessible hike involves following a mountain stream to discover seven tiers of waterfalls. On the return trip, enjoy lunch by the river at a small traditional restaurant’s terrace. The return to Marrakesh is expected around 5pm.
