Great scenic views of Ouzoud Waterfalls - Amazing trip, highlight of the holiday so far. Easy pick-up right outside our hotel and fantastic tour given by our guide Younis. Waterfall was great, definitely recommend a boat ride and swimming gear to take a swim.

Amazing tour - Views were amazing and the tour guide was great, Younis, very helpful and fun and made the experience much more fun. Also very helpful. The waterfall was beautiful and very worth the trip. Lovely food too and plenty of stalls for cute whimsy souvenirs Watch out for the scammers when you feed the monkeys they push you to take nuts off of them to feed the monkeys then follow you around asking you to pay

Our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the area. He made the trip even more enjoyable by sharing interesting facts and ensuring everyone felt comfortable. I highly recommend visiting the Ouzoud Waterfalls and booking a tour with this guide!

Breathtaking Scenery but Poorly Managed Group Experience - Ouzoud Falls are absolutely stunning and well worth the visit—but be prepared for a long day. The journey from Marrakech takes around 3 hours each way, with a brief 15-minute rest stop en route and on the return. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as there’s a moderate walk involved. If you’re not confident in your fitness level, it’s important to be upfront about it, as this can affect the entire group’s pace. Donkeys are available for the uphill return, but you need to let your guide know early on if you’ll need one. The boat trip at the falls was a highlight—fun and memorable. However, after that comes a steep, stepped incline where better group management is definitely needed. Our large group had two guides, but there was a wide range of abilities. Unfortunately, there was little communication about where we were going, and the group quickly became fragmented. One guide stayed with those struggling or stopping frequently for photos, while the rest of us waited around unnecessarily. It would have been much better if one guide had led the more active group ahead. Lunch felt like a missed opportunity. Instead of being given free time to choose among several scenic restaurants, we were taken to a place with no view and a very basic meal (tagine, skewers, and water). It was reasonably priced, but we would have preferred a spot with a view and more options. Finally, we were surprised when our guide asked for additional money at the end of the tour. This was unexpected and confusing, as we had paid in advance. We didn’t pay him again, but it did raise questions about the organization of the tour. Overall, the falls themselves are beautiful, but the experience could be greatly improved with better planning, clearer communication, and more flexibility.

Wouldn’t recommend… - It’s a long trip out of the city to what is essentially a tourist trap. The waterfalls had the feel of an almost man made attraction, the boat ride is just about 500m from the mooring to the edge of the falls and then back again. This is also the swimming area. No information about the area or location was given by our guide. The food we had was good and seemed value for money. Overall the six hour round trip was not worth it to visit this location.
