Merzouga Desert - After breakfast, set off for the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Travel through Todra Gorges, oasis, Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where you’ll sense the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Continue to a hotel in Merzouga, and after a brief rest, embark on a camel ride adventure across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. This is a wonderful opportunity to capture stunning photos of the sunset and sunrise. Upon reaching the camp, leave the camels and walk to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and to watch the sunset. Spend the night in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drum music in the heart of the Sahara.
Merzouga - High Atlas - Marrakech
Marrakech - Awaken to a sunrise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, begin the journey back to Marrakech. Pass through Berber villages until reaching Ouarzazate, then follow the same route back to Marrakech. Your shared 3-day desert tour from Marrakech will conclude in the afternoon around 7:30 PM, with a drop-off at your hotel or the nearest accessible point to your riad.
