Day 1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountain - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Dades Valley

Marrakech - Begin the journey from Marrakech at Cafe de France, then travel through the majestic High Atlas Mountains.

High Atlas Mountains - Travel through the High Atlas Mountains, pausing for a restroom and coffee break, followed by a photo opportunity.

Ait Ben Haddou - Visit the ksar in Ait Ben Haddou, dating back to the 11th century, to explore the renowned Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. This remarkable location has been featured in numerous films, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara starring Penélope Cruz.

Ouarzazate - Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” for its film industry. Many international films, such as Gladiator, The Mummy, Kundun, and Babel, were shot here. It’s possible to take photos at the film studio and Taourirt Kasbah.

Vallee Des Roses - Stop in the rose city for a coffee break and restroom visit. Discover rose products and capture some photos.

Dades Valley - Todra Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga

Boumalne Dades - Depart from Dades and head towards the desert, visiting the Todra Valley along the way.

Todgha Gorge - After two hours, arrive at the Todra Gorges, one of the most beautiful spots in the High Atlas. The river has carved a canyon with steep rock walls, popular among climbers. Enjoy lunch at your leisure in this picturesque setting. A short walk through the gorges is highly recommended to fully appreciate the stunning landscape.

Erfoud - Known for fossil and date production, Erfoud may be a stop for those interested in sampling dates.

Merzouga Desert - Finally, reach the desert to embark on a 30-minute camel ride to the camp, where you’ll settle into your tent. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by live music performed by locals.

Merzouga - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes

Merzouga Desert - Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise and enjoy breakfast before departing for Fes.

Fleuve de Ziz - Pause at Ziz Valley to capture the panoramic views with photographs.

Midelt - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant after a four-hour drive.

Ifrane - Stop in Ifrane, a ski resort built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss town, providing a sense of home for the French.
