Tizi n Tichka - Situated between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, the Tizi N’Tichka road is one of Morocco’s most beautiful routes, offering breathtaking landscapes. Travelers will stop to admire the majestic summit of the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain, standing at an altitude of 2,260 meters.
Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Ait Ben Haddou is a historic Moroccan monument, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visitors will spend two and a half hours here, with one and a half hours dedicated to exploring the kasbah, famous for filming iconic movies like Gladiator, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones, and the remaining hour for lunch.
Maroc - Known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” Ouarzazate translates to “The Quiet City” in English. Historically, it provided a peaceful haven for travelers from North Africa and Europe heading to Central and Southern Africa. Today, it is bustling with archaeological and developmental sites, attracting tourists interested in history and global cinema. Visitors can explore the kasbah of Taourirt and the International Museum of Cinema in the heart of the old medina.
Vallee Des Roses - Experience familiar sights like taxis, clothing stores, markets, and road hubs, all adorned with flowers and roses, creating a garden-like atmosphere. Travelers can stop to photograph the uniquely decorated roundabouts and enjoy the sight of a pink taxi passing by.
Dades Gorges - Journey through the village of Boumalne Dades, featuring three main attractions: the Dades Valley, the Kasbah Ait Youl, and the rock formations known as the “Monkey’s Feet.”
Dades Gorges - Conclude the day with a stay in a beautiful traditional Berber castle located in the heart of the Dades Straits, next to the valley. Room selection will be based on personal preferences.
Boumalne Dades-Tinghir and Todra Gorges-Merzouga.
Tinghir - After breakfast, continue the journey to Tinghir and its surroundings. Enjoy a guided tour of the Tinghir valleys for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, followed by a visit to the Todra Gorges. Lunch will be in the same village before heading to Merzouga.
Merzouga Desert - Travel through Tin-n-Jdad, Rissani, and Erfoud to reach Merzouga. Enjoy a 45-minute camel ride to watch the sunset, followed by a night in nomad tents in the desert, complete with folk dances and traditional music. Relish the panoramic starry views over the sand dunes before retiring for the night.
Merzouga-Marrakech
Merzouga Desert - On the third day at 7:00 am, travelers will rise and prepare for a walk in the sand. After breakfast, they will reunite with their driver for the return journey to Marrakech.
Alnif - After departing Merzouga, travelers will have opportunities to stop and capture photos at fascinating locations.
Ait Barka - Although physically tired from the journey, travelers will leave with cherished memories and a newfound appreciation for diverse cultures. The final stop will be in Ait Barka village, offering a chance to rest and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea.
Marrakech - At 7:30 PM, the driver will drop travelers off at their hotels or near their riads (as vehicles cannot access the narrow alleys where riads are located).
