Aswan High Dam - A representative will collect guests from their hotel to begin the Marsa Alam Day Tour. Day 2-Aswan-Abu Simbel-Marsa Alam

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Guests will be picked up early from their hotel in Aswan at 04:00. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle from Aswan to Abu Simbel, a 3-hour drive to the temples before the day’s heat sets in. The two temples were carved from the mountainside during Pharaoh Ramesses II’s reign in the 13th century BC.

Upon arrival, an Egyptologist guide will provide insights into one of Egypt’s most remarkable and imaginative pharaohs. Admire the main façade of the Great Temple to Ramesses II, featuring four statues of the pharaoh seated on his throne in his later years. Continue to the smaller temple dedicated to Ramesses’ consort, Queen Nefertari, located adjacent to the Great Temple. Appreciate the impressive rock-cut façade depicting the pharaoh and his queen. Re-board the coach at 09:00 for the return journey to Aswan. Lunch will be served in Aswan before the drive back to Marsa Alam.
