Marsa Alam - Guests will be transported from their hotel in Marsa Alam to Hurghada airport for a flight to Cairo, where they will enjoy a private 3-day excursion to Cairo and Alexandria. Upon arrival at Cairo airport, a private guide will meet them to visit:

Pyramids of Giza - This complex features three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. It dates back to the 4th dynasty, around 2400 B.C.

It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau and the only one remaining intact from the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid stands at 147 meters tall, constructed with 2,300,000 stones, and took twenty years to complete.

Great Sphinx - The Sphinx is the largest statue in the world, measuring 73 meters in length, 19 meters in width, and 20 meters in height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.

Cairo - Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After the tour, guests will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Cairo to Alexandria

Alexandria - Begin a private tour to Alexandria from Cairo at 7:00 am. Guests will be picked up from their hotel by an Egyptologist and transferred by private A/C vehicle to Alexandria, located 220 km northwest of Cairo. Upon arrival around 10 am, the day tour in Alexandria will commence with visits to:

Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa - Archaeologists believe the Catacombs were initiated in the 2nd century A.D. and used for the next 200 years.

Pompey’s Pillar - A red granite column erected to honor Emperor Diocletian. It stands 25 meters high and is the tallest ancient monument in Alexandria.

Citadel Outlets - Constructed in the 15th century by the Mamlouk Sultan Qaitbay to protect the city from Crusader threats. It was built using the remnants of the old Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina - Lunch in Alexandria at an Egyptian restaurant. The new Library of Alexandria, reopened in October 2002, is not only a stunning building but a vast complex where arts, history, philosophy, and science converge.

Cairo - After the tour, guests will drive back to Cairo for an overnight stay.

Cairo to Marsa Alam

Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cairo or Giza at 08:00 am with their Egyptologist tour guide. They will drive to the Saladin Citadel, built by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam Hills in 1183 AD. Known for its fresh air and panoramic views of Cairo, it is now a preserved historic site with mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha.

Old Cairo - Visit Old Cairo to explore major attractions such as the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Cairo.

Khan Al-Khalili - Continue to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Discover old Cairo, the hub of Cairo’s trading activities since the 14th century.

Marsa Alam - After the tour, guests will fly to Hurghada from Cairo and then be transferred to Marsa Alam.
