A moment to cherish! - Despite a group activity of 30 people, it was still a personal and unforgettable experience.

Turtles, manatees, dolphins, coral reefs - First: it was very good!
We were picked up from our hotel at 7am and then drove a bit more than an hour to Port Gahlib. There we had to fill out some paperwork and got an introduction. The tour had 2 stops and a lunch on board. At the first stop (about 15min boat trip) we saw huge turtles and a manatee. That was very cool. Then we drove to the second stop. Along the way, dolphins swam with our boat and did tricks. At the second stop we saw a very nice coral reef with many colorful fish. Afterwards we had delicious lunch on board.
Conclusion:
We saw everything we wanted to see:)
The tour guides were all very nice!
The food was good.
Tour duration ~6hours + drive to the hotel
Even if it was a busy day we can highly recommend the tour because we collected many great photos and memories :)

Perfect for turtle fans - Turtles and dugong seen!!
Pick up went absolutely fine, had to wait a few minutes, but completely within the frame. Drive were about 10 minutes by minibus, on site directly to the boat. There a few introductory words and we had to fill in some stuff. One of the crew spoke German, English , Italian, Russian and a bit Polish. After about 20 minutes on board, around 09:30 we started and after about 15-20 minutes we were already in Marsa Mubarak. Unfortunately, due to very strong winds, we could only drive to this one bay, but we wanted to see turtles and we should be able to do that here, so that was fine for us. After we docked we started and we were allowed in the water. After about 90 seconds we also saw the first turtle and were thrilled. Unfortunately we had an idiot on the way who wanted to lift the turtle up (please don't do anything, don't touch animals/fish and corals!!!), so it swam away of course, but that was only half as bad for us, because we were allowed to admire the next one a few moments later. We were about 12 people from our boat, 2 guides and a cameraman. Everyone was well looked after and if you couldn't do more, you were pulled with a lifebuoy. After 30 minutes we went back on board and we warmed up with tea and rested briefly. A short time later hectic erupted, because a rare dugong was spotted by another group and we quickly jumped back into the water. Unfortunately, there was a lot going on and I got a few fin blows, but was able to admire the dugong up close. Afterwards we were able to snorkel briefly on a reef. After the adventure we had lunch, which was delicious. After that we had 30 minutes to ourselves and I was allowed to swim to the reef again alone and was able to take some nice underwater shots (this is only recommended if you are aware of the dangers posed by the sea and the other people). Afterwards we went back by boat, it was very rocky due to the waves and not for weak stomachs. After we got off the ship we were taken straight back to the hotel. We collected wonderful memories and felt very safe!
Hard Facts:
Date: 31.01.
Weather: Very windy, therefore very wavy
Time from pickup to return at the hotel: 08:45-15:45 (including about 6 hours on the water)
Number of persons: approx. 18 persons
Crew: 8 people
Including: Drinks (water, tea, coffee and Pepsi), food (chicken, beef, potatoes, rice, salad, bread and once babaganush)
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.
Of course, you have to keep in mind that it is the great outdoors and it is not a given that you see any animals, but turtles almost 100%.

PERFECT - Beautiful boat trip I recommend very much! Everything is organized to the utmost detail... the staff knows every language well, especially Italian, English and Russian. We could both snorkel and dive paying extra but at a good price. All equipment is included except for the diving suit which is cheap. I have to say overall I recommend a lot, also they offer a good photo service for extra charge.

No sea cows but cool sea turtles. - The pick up went smoothly and no problems getting on the boat around 9. Unfortunately there was like an hour of additional paperwork to fill out so the boat didn't leave until 10.
The main guide spoke English, the others spoke enough to get by. He advised us that we may not see any sea cows- that was kind of a bummer.
The first stop were some coral, but I thought there would be more fish. There were a couple screaming kids on the boat and one went into complete melt down mode when his parents brought him the water.
I enjoyed swimming without a life jacket. It was peaceful. There were a few non dangerous jellyfish, unfortunately fewer non jellyfish.
The highlight of the was definitely the sea turtles. There were only two or three but they were majestic looking. The guide said one was 150 years old. Unfortunately because we were in a National Park and life jackets were required- it limited my mobility to swim freer. The law makes sense, it keeps more humans farther away from annoying the turtles.
The turtles did swim up near the surface and that was neat. Also cool to see the fish clean the turtles shells. Probably every high schooler in the US learned about it in high school as an example of a symbiotic relationship.
The late lunch was good. Delicious options for vegetarians- my favorite was the eggplant dip. The watermelon was refreshing.
I paid the photographer $30. I'll be curious how those come out.
Marked down a star for the lack of sea cows, the screaming kids and the guides and boat workers who were smoking during the tour.
The first is kind of misleading marketing. The second- they should set a minimum age or make it adults only or have a kid free option.
I know the third is common in Egypt- but the guides and workers smoking while I'm trying to enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea- is just not a good look.

Trip in itself is OK. - The day itself is ok. The pick-up is quite punctual, the supervisors are also very friendly and helpful. However, the intention was to see manatees. There are at least 6 large ships around the grazing area of the manatees and turtles with at least 25 snorkelers / divers on board each time. When a manatee was suddenly spotted, dinghies sprung from all sides to show the animal to everyone. The result was that the manatee was startled by all the tumult and that the animal hurriedly swam away from the pack. I know it's a little too late to give my own verdict because I've seen just as much guilt in it as I've taken part in to get a glimpse of this rarity. But wouldn't it be better to leave these animals alone and make sure the word rarity isn't turned into extinct..? Again, you can already see the effects of global warming very well. Many corals have already died and the large quantities of fish have already been significantly reduced. Turtles can also be found snorkeling with ease in front of your own hotel. I was going to have given just a little more stars if the boat photo pictured here had also effectively been the boat we had sailed with. However, this is not the case here.

Dugong is nice but time given to explore and snorkel is too short - For good swimmers time for exploring is short and quite boring due also to life jacket. SNORKEL in between boats and the reef not absolutelly a nice experience is like swimming in a port. OF Course the experience of swimming with Dugong is special and the boat personell tried to do their best and assist. But is time to organize trip for experienced swimmer!

Last-Minute Cancellation and Rough Seas - We did not receive confirmation of our pick-up time until we contacted the company ourselves just 8 hours before the cruise, only to be told it was canceled without explanation. They rescheduled it for another day, but sea conditions were very rough, making the experience unpleasant and causing seasickness. The water was too murky to see anything, and despite an early departure, we waited over an hour at the dock before leaving. Overall, it was disappointing and poorly organized.

No respect for the animals - I was really excited to snorkel with dugongs and turtles, but unfortunately the experience was quite upsetting due to the behavior of the tour guides. Instead of allowing the animals to swim peacefully in their natural environment, the guides constantly chased after them underwater. This made the animals visibly stressed and disturbed, ruining the sense of tranquility and respect that should be part of such an encounter.
The aggressive approach by the guides felt disrespectful to the wildlife as a whole. It took away from the magical experience I was hoping for, and instead left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. I truly believe these gentle creatures deserve to be observed calmly and respectfully, not harassed for the sake of a better photo or closer interaction.
I hope future tours prioritize the well-being of the animals and teach visitors how to appreciate them without causing stress.
