Journey to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Murchison Falls National Park - After breakfast, the guide will pick you up in a safari vehicle for a drive through the scenic roads to the northwestern region of Uganda, leaving behind the city’s hustle and bustle. Enjoy the captivating countryside views and stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exhilarating on-foot rhino tracking experience. This is a chance to see one of the Big Five up close. Afterward, proceed to Masindi Town for lunch, then continue to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls before checking into your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park - Start your day early with breakfast before heading to the expansive savannah, home to Africa’s famous wildlife. The morning game drive offers opportunities to spot elephants, lions, Rothschild’s giraffe, cape buffalo, and more. The savannah is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 50 bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for the evening activities.

In the evening, embark on a boat cruise upstream the serene Victoria Nile to the base of the falls.

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Kibale Forest National Park - Rise early for breakfast, check out, and enjoy a morning game drive to catch any wildlife you may have missed. Travel through charming towns and villages that showcase the vibrant African lifestyle. Check into your chosen accommodation, relax, and prepare for an evening nature walk in Bigodi Sanctuary.

The evening walk in Bigodi Swamp reveals its hidden beauty and rich biodiversity, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Engage with the local communities and learn about their way of life. The swamp is home to various forest mammals, including bushbucks and otters.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kibale Forest National Park - After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a guided forest walk to track chimpanzees. The walk offers insights into the park’s biodiversity, including other primates and butterflies. After tracking the chimps, return to the lodge for lunch, then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Nestled between Lakes George and Edward, the park is a haven for wildlife and over 600 bird species. Check into your lodge and enjoy an evening nature walk to explore the crater lakes.

Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Known for its diverse wildlife, Queen Elizabeth National Park attracts visitors worldwide. After breakfast, embark on a safari game drive to spot the big game. The park features stunning landscapes, including the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos and tree-climbing lions. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before the evening activities.

In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a sanctuary for birds, hippos, and crocodiles, followed by another game drive.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector, famous for tree-climbing lions. Continue through the Kigezi highlands, passing local communities and coffee plantations. The journey takes about 3 hours and 40 minutes to 4 hours, leading to the dense forests of Bwindi. The gorilla permit will determine the overnight lodging to prepare for the next day’s activities.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, carry a packed lunch and head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Join a group of trekkers and navigate the challenging jungle trails to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas. Spend an hour with them before returning to the headquarters to receive a certificate for the experience. Afterward, return to the lodge for a hot shower and lunch, then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for evening canoeing.

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an Afternoon Boat Cruise

Lake Mburo National Park - After breakfast, check out and embark on a 5-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping in Mbarara for lunch. Continue to the park, known for its unique geological features and diverse wildlife, including zebras and over 350 bird species. The park is also home to the Bahima tribe, known for cattle keeping.

Walking Safari in Lake Mburo and Drive to Kampala to End the Safari

Entebbe - Start the day with a refreshing morning breeze and a guided nature walk in the park. Enjoy a horseback riding safari for a unique perspective of the wildlife. Afterward, check out and drive to Kampala, stopping at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Continue to Kampala or head to Entebbe Airport for your flight.
