Surf Canaries - We usually meet up in the surf school at 9:30 in the morning (depending on the surfing conditions) and have our morning briefing, followed by different theory classes in the surf school class room. Our generic video class is an accumulation of over 10 years of experience in teaching how to surf. It is designed for day-one surfers and people that have surfed before alike.
After learning the basic golden rules, you have the perfect knowledge to succeed in getting up on a surf board. A quick simulation class on the beach and you will be ready to hit the water with your instructor for the first practical session. After the first 50 minutes of surfing we will take a 20 min break to rest up and recharge your batteries before the second session of surfing.
We finalize the day with a photo party in the surf school where we see the pictures of everyone in action. Those pictures will be available for you to download at no additional cost.

Amazing Experience! - My first time surfing - Had an amazing time surfing! The instructors were super friendly, patient, and made the whole experience fun and easy to pick up — even as a beginner. The location was great, the waves were perfectly timed, and the vibe was enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely something I’d do again!
Additionally, the photos are taken with a professional camera - the quality of the images are really good. (I have attached one for reference).

Top surf school, great team, lots of fun guaranteed - I took part in a four-hour beginner course and was completely enthusiastic. The whole team is incredibly friendly, motivating and professional – you feel welcome immediately. We were a small group of four people, which was super pleasant. After an understandable and interesting introduction to theory, we went straight to the beach.
I would particularly like to highlight Jordán: He gave each individual tips and explained exactly how to improve. So I had a lot of fun from the beginning. A great extra are the photos from the course, which capture the beautiful moments.
The beach section was perfect for beginners and provided ideal conditions for practicing. Compared to my first surf course, this course was much more professional, personal and overall just great.
I felt comfortable and well looked after at all times and would like to get back on the board immediately. I will definitely come back! 🌊✨😊

Awesome surf school - fun and learning in one - Surf Canaries is the best surf school I have experienced so far. You feel welcome immediately. Start with theory lessons, video analysis on day 3 (or earlier), surf skate training for the turns, very good and individual support from the teachers. Highly professional, yet with a lot of fun and joy. I have learned a lot once again and I am very grateful to Julien and Jordan. Anytime again!

Taster course as a wonderful first surf experience - Birthday present for my 20-year-old niece: Taster course
We were absolutely positively surprised – our first lesson was special because we managed to get on the board several times already, thanks to the support of our surf instructor Jordan. In his group we immediately felt comfortable and could enjoy the hours very much. The day was a wonderful experience!

Enjoy the taster course - We booked a taster day at Surf School, this was a great experience! First you get a short theory unit on how to behave on the surfboard. After that we went to the beach. There were a few stretching exercises beforehand and afterwards we started in small groups with the dry exercises on the beach. Immediately afterwards, what you learned was applied in water. The surf instructors are all top and try very hard and give you tips to make everything work. At the end there are also photos of the day.
We had a lot of fun and discovered a new sport for us!

Amazing first surfing experience - My first class at surfing, instructor provided great induction and explanation and help with surfing on water with a feedback what to improve. Had an amazing time, highly recommend and looking forward to pictures.

Top surf school, lots of fun and even more learning - The days were unforgettable, as Julien and Jodan made sure with a lot of patience and joy that I could continue to professionalize surfing.
Classes are small with 5 people per teacher, so everyone can learn at their own pace.
Both teachers are highly professional and take time for both theory and practice. They give tips and help to get better and better.
The surf school is suitable for everyone, whether child or adult, family or couple or individual. You immediately feel welcome and have a lot of fun in the water and also otherwise. Top!

Best Surf School - Brilliant surf school. Really supportive and give you clear instructions. I was in the first time surf group and the I structor was in the water helping us catch the waves. I had to leave early due to some struggles with my health and they were very helpful. Made sure I was okay and safe enough to walk back on my own. I also accidentally left something in the bag that they provide and was contacted immediately via text message.
Very good surf school, would reccomend to anyone!

Good surfschool! - Through “getyourgide” on Google we found this surf school. My kids 11 and 14 wanted to learn to surf sometime. I was able to book and pay via IDeal. I immediately received a confirmation via email. The contact about the times then went via whatsapp. Because you are dependent on the weather, the times can change. Of course you want to have the best waves! First they got a 20-30 minute theory and the instructors were introduced. They were also given a surf suit and a surfboard that fit my kids' height. Then to the beach. Here they first did a warm-up and a few exercises useful while surfing. In groups of five people and one instructor, they then went into the sea. The guidance there was good and at the end of the lesson the kids could just surf by themselves! Pictures were also taken, which you can download later! All credit to surf school Surf Canaries! The kids even liked it so much that they booked another surf morning in the same vacation and this time they brought their dad! Next time we will definitely go back to this surf school.
