What a treat - What a treat to visit this amazing venue. 3 gardens and indoor art displays. This has been years in the making (and collecting of art). Thank you so much for allowing the public to view your private collection. We were fortunate to visit early in the day when there weren't very many people around. It was so peaceful. The gardens are very well planted to provide shade and there are plenty of umbrellas should it rain. Allow a couple of hours to read the quotes and admire the art, birds and gardens.

Mind-blowing eye-candy! - I cannot say enough how exceptional, wonderful, mind-blowing,incredibly unbelievable this collection of indoor/outdoor art is. I did not expect this from the adverts of plastic animals. This is a well-curated museum of famous art and a magical creation. The grounds are peaceful, gorgeous and uplifting. No detail is forgotten. All of my flabbers were truly gasted!! Congratulations and wonders to the creators of this beautiful space. I LOVED all of it from the quotes, walks, gardens to Warhol, Picasso, Matisse and Chihuly-plus!! Many NZ artists didn't know of were very well show-cased too. Bravo!! and thank you for your love and dedication!!

Fantastic place. Go visit! - Fantastic place, full of wonderful pieces of art. Walking round the gardens looking at the sculptures is a very relaxing way of spending a couple of hours. The quotes from various people are also thought provoking. The lady in the shop was very friendly and helpful and it was nice to be able to look through the evolution of the project in the folder. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful art and amazing food - What a magical and inspirational display of art. A wonderfully eclectic collection with a surprise at every turn. A world class exhibition. Thank you. And to cap it all we lunched at Rofko. We have been visiting NZ annually for over 35 years and the tasting menu was the best meal we have ever had here!

Nice sculptures, shame about the birds & animals - We enjoyed the sculptures particularly those inside. They were arranged in room with a theme, eg head, glass etc. The initial outdoor trail was fine although we did not appreciate the averies and animals as these were unnecessary and detracted from the sculptures. The birds looked bored and just sat there while the tortoises were in a small box.

A excellent, interesting range of art spoilt by the caged animals - This was a large exhibition of an eclectic mix of art work. We started at the outside gallery which had an interesting selection of trees and a selection of different art works. We were underwhelmed by this. Next was the indoor gallery. This was much more our style. With a number of galleries arranged around a theme, eg glass, heads. These were arranged with various artists together and made a good and interesting selection. This led onto the imaginary garden again with an interesting selection of trees and sculptures. We were unimpressed by the five averies with birds, the rabbits, turtles and turtles. They added nothing o the art or gardens.
