• Pitawala Nature Trail - The Riverston Excursion begins at 8:30 am at the Riverston Telecommunications Tower, which marks the start of the trail. Riverston Peak is part of the Knuckles Mountain Range, known for its rich biodiversity within this protected area. After reaching the summit and spending some time there, the group will return to the Riverston trailhead.

Next, the excursion will proceed to the ‘Mini World’s End,’ a dramatic cliff offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After taking in the sights and capturing some photographs, the group will head back to the Pittawala Paththana trailhead. This region is the source of many rivers and features several waterfalls.

The group will return to the trailhead after the visit. A vehicle will transport everyone back to the Riverston Tower by 5:30 pm, concluding the hike.
