Outstanding day trip - My partner and I had an excellent day visiting the glow worm caves and Hobbiton. Both activities were certainly enjoyable. Our driver Sunny was amazing. I had trouble securing tickets so Sunny arranged them for us! Also he suggested going early to Hobbiton to see if we could get an earlier tour which worked in our favour. If you’re looking for a private tour, I’d recommend Sunny.

Sunny was amazing travel... - Sunny was amazing travel guide. Had a great time touring with him. He took us to hidden gems around there and we're worth seeing which we would have otherwise missed them. Would highly recommend him.

Our guide saved the day - Due to travel issues we had to shift our plans around. We found this site and booked it late. The site said admission tickets weren’t provided but we assumed we could just buy them at the entrance. We were wrong. When we arrived in Auckland, our guide Sunny, called us to see if we have tickets. He was concerned when we told him no because it’s the busy season and they sell out. He said he would do what he could but it might not be available. After a long day of stress about the tickets and several calls to/from Sunny with no tickets, he called us at 6:00 with the great news that he had the tickets. The next day, he picked us up at our hotel, very comfortable ride to the Hobbiton site and a great day there. He then drove us directly to our cruise ship. Because of Sunny, we got to experience one of the top things we had planned for the trip. He went above and beyond and saved the day. Great job!

Our tour guide saved the day - Our tour guide Sunny was the best. He went above and beyond what we could expect. He met us on time, provided refreshments and helped us meet an appointment after our tour. But above all, he worked really hard at obtaining almost impossible to get admission tickets to the Hobbiton movie site. The reason he did that was the posting on Viator stated that admission tickets were not included. Ok, no problem, we assumed we could just buy them at the movie set. However, when Sunny called us the day before, he said they were sold out as this was the busy season. We tried for some time to get tickets anyway possible but failed. Sunny called us at 6:00 pm the night before and told us he got them. He saved the day. But IF we had been told on the Viator web site that tickets needed to be purchased in advance (not just they were our responsibility), we might have saved a lot of anxious time and money.

Need to know! - For this tour, tickets for both sites were not available upon arrival. Informing a tourist of this needs to be more prominent and links for purchases to attractions provided on tour site.

Car too small for a party of 4 - We were able to visit the Waitomo caves and Hobbiton on the same day. Our guide, Sunny, was able to get tickets for Hobbiton, so that was a surprise as I wasn't able to purchase them myself online. He picked us on time at the Auckland cruise terminal and delivered us safely and timely before the ship's embarkation deadline. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the car was small for a party of 4 like ours. Even though we are pretty skinny people, the 3 folks in the back seat didnt feel very comfortable for a ride that lasted about 7 hours in total.

If 10 Stars Were An Option…. - Sunny, the tour guide, was just amazing. When we booked the tour, both Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves were sold out. We informed Sunny of this and asked if he could help (we had about 3-4 weeks before our arrival). To my amazement, Sunny as able to secure 4 Hobbiton tickets and, soon after that, 4 Waitomo tickets and totally saved our day!! Then, due to issues with our flights we ended up missing a day in Auckland and were set to arrive the morning of our tour. Sunny was extremely flexible and helpful (and communicated with us constantly) and was able to help arrange transport to our hotel so we could drop off our bags at the front desk and then immediately hit the road to the caves (we landed at 6am and had to be on the road by 7:30am to stay on schedule). We got to the caves with time to spare and made both tours with no issues. Sunny was great and helped us fulfill a bucket list trip that we otherwise would have missed. I can’t recommend him enough!!

Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves - s was an exceptional experience! Sundeep ensured our journey was hassle-free and enjoyable, demonstrating exceptional customer service and a friendly approach. He was punctual and very conscious of time, making sure we wouldn’t miss our scheduled tour time slot. He even helped us purchase and collect our tickets to Waitomo Glowworm Caves and the Hobbiton movie set, ensuring all our requests were fulfilled. I highly recommend Sundeep to my acquaintances and relatives.
