We took a short ride over... - We took a short ride over from the meetup point to the glacier. After a short bridge walk we equipped our spikes on our boots and started roaming on top of the glacier! The guides were both very knowledgeable and attentive for our safety. On the walk back it started to drizzle, so be sure to be prepared!

Experience of a lifetime. - Hubby and I have planned our Alaska for the past year. A friend did a glacier hike and raved about it. So why not. We chose MICA from a referral from Alaska.org. It was incredible. I would do it again. Our guide was Sam. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The experience of a life time. Loved every moment.

Great Glacier Guiding! - We enjoyed a wonderful morning out on the Matanuska Glacier with Nova and would definitely recommend them! Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about this and other glaciers as he safely got us up close to experience all its different features, all while being humorous, fun, and a great photographer. Loved this experience!

Great time visiting the glacier a must do when in Alaska - Great time visiting the glacier. Our tour guide Bethany was very knowledgeable and helpful. I like the “safety first “ aspect. Everything was managed well. Great job Nova!

Nice but too pricey - It was nice and Lucas our guide was very nice also. The tour on the glacier is not too difficult but you need to be able to walk on unsteady ground but nothing horrible. It takes 3,5 hours to make the tour. It was sunny so the glacier really looks beautiful. You will have crampons and helmet. But keep in mind they have many many tours at the same time on the glacier. The 4 stars is because of the price 150 dollars per personne is really to expensive but guess you have no other choice they kind have a monopoly. It’s also funny looking at the reviews they only respond to the 5 stars

Overrated - Not up to expectations. Least favorite of all the excursions we did. From all the attention to the release forms and agreements I thought we were in for an adventure. This was a little walk on the toe of the glacier. The young women who led the tour were nice, but you could tell they were bored with it. Admittedly we are hikers, and the group had kids and old people in it, but we could have gone a little farther onto the glacier.

Worst value for the money of all the experiences we did in Alaska. - We spent 11 days in Alaska, did 9 different “experiences”, and this was our most disappointing. Our experience did not match the description at all. We were supposed to go to “Ice Falls”? “Fill our water bottles with glacier water”? None of that remotely happened. I think our guides were trying to be funny, but half of what they said was millennial humor that didn’t connect with 90% of the people on the tour. We wanted “real” information about the glacier, not misinformation about big worms and oil. If certain parts of the glacier are unavailable in Aug since it’s the end of the season, maybe adjust your prices and expectations accordingly.
