• Visit to the upper part of the city: Civita
• Visit to the Sasso Caveoso: one of the most beautiful parts of the Sassi of Matera
• Entrances to:
  – A rock church, churches partly excavated and partly built
  – First cave house: it is the first home in the Sassi to be turned into a museum and will help you understand what the Sassi are like from the inside, how people lived there and how they have evolved to the present day
  – Neviera (if you don’t know what it is - you’ll have to come here to find out)
  – Many panoramic views of the Sassi and the Murgia Park
  – Artisan shop with a final treasure (not to be revealed to little explorers)

The tour is designed to be as much of a long descent as possible and will end in the heart of the Sassi where you will find restaurants and fantastic views. Here you can buy local souvenirs, have lunch (or a good ice cream) and rest before continuing your tour
