• Matmata - After breakfast, depart for El Jem with a brief city tour of Tunis. ‘El Jem’ is a remarkably preserved Roman amphitheater. Continue to Matmata, an ancient troglodyte village. Visit a local host and savor a cup of rosemary tea served with olive oil and honey to tide you over until lunch. Later, proceed to Ksar Joumaa and settle into your room. Dinner and overnight at Ksar Joumaa.

• Ksar Ghilane - Explore the stunning Ksar Ghilane. Enjoy scenic views along the Roman road, and watch for flocks of sheep and camels. Upon arrival, take a dip in the thermal spring nestled among date palms. Relax in the warm water, which is soothing yet offers relief from the desert heat. Next, enjoy free time to walk on the dunes, take a camel ride, or explore the dunes on a quad tour before enjoying a local meal by the hot spring. After lunch, return to the jeep and continue to Douz, the gateway to the desert, where you can take a camel ride or go on a quad tour in the dunes. Stroll through the Douz souk and watch the sunset before returning to your hotel for overnight and dinner.

• Tozeur - After an early breakfast, begin your visit with the Dune Sea, Krayt Dragon Ridge, and the Lars Family Homestead exterior on Chott El Jerid. This location appeared in Attack of the Clones and the final shot of Revenge of the Sith. Continue across Mides to ‘Star Wars Canyon,’ where nine scenes were filmed, including the attack and burial of Jawas, Jawa Rock, and the Tusken Raiders. Return to Nefta and visit the Mos Espa film site, set among the Sahara dunes. Here, explore the Pod-racing arena, Mos Espa streets, Watto’s shop, the market, and Sebulba’s Café. East of the set, see the Yardangs, where the Jedi fight between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul in Episode I. It was also the location of the Queen’s Royal Starship. Conclude the tour at Ong Jemel, ‘the neck of the camel,’ where Darth Maul arrives on Tatooine and releases the Sith Probes.

• Golf Oasis Tozeur - Discover breathtaking scenery and tranquility as you explore three of Tunisia’s famous oases. After pickup from your hotel in Tozeur, head to Chebika, a Berber village with a Roman past. Walk along the river to a mountainous source, then climb a path for a panoramic view over Chott El-Gharsa. On the way back, pass the old village ruins where an elderly man still weaves palm containers for tourists. Next, visit Mides to admire the landscapes and sample local dates. Wander through the village, oases, and canyons for a refreshing experience. Continue to Tamerza, a beautiful oasis along a canyon, and cool off with a dip in its crystal-clear waters. End your day with a walk around the old village, where only the mosque is restored. Return to your hotel in the evening.
