As a seasoned surfer who’s spent years chasing the perfect wave across Central America, I thought I had seen it all. But when the opportunity arose to experience a surf lesson at Kalama Beach in Kihei, Maui, I couldn’t resist. After all, what is a trip to Hawaii without surfing? The allure of Maui’s gentle waves and the promise of a new adventure were too tempting to pass up.
