Learn something New - If your thinking about doing it, just do it!!! Had an absolute blast, and Steve was hilarious, and a great teacher, super lad back.. Just listen to what he says, and look cool 😊.. If you think you can't do it, your wrong.. May take some longer than others but you can learn most things.. Enjoy the process.

Easier and harder than it looks -- but WORTH IT - Great time on the water. Book the earliest you can do (water is calmer). If you have skateboarded as a kid, or snowboarded, or longboard surfed, any of that will help. This IS PHYSICAL. Plan on being tired, maybe scuffed elbows. Maybe even a little bruise or two from hitting the water. This is not for the timid unless you want to ride around laying down the whole time. I got there and really went for it. Yes. I fell. A lot. But every time I got better and it was longer between falls. The staff was good with instructions and support. They really do want you to succeed.

Great experience and a must do! - My family of four had an amazing time eFoiling in Maui! I have a 12 year old daughter and a 13 year old son. My 12 year old is very petite, only 58 pounds and probably the size of a 7 or 8 year old and Steve had her up within 5 minutes. Our whole family caught on really quickly and were all up and going after just minutes. Steve actually rescheduled with us because the morning we were originally scheduled for was extremely windy. He was concerned that we wouldn’t have had the best experience so we decided to try a couple of days later and the weather was muuuuch better. On the day of our experience, Steve and Kioni were both patient and gave us pointers along the way. This was my kids favorite activity on our entire trip and we did a lot of cool things! It’s expensive compared to other activities but money well spent. The equipment itself is well maintained and is expensive on its own so the price of the experience makes sense when you consider that. Steve also had some wetsuits and rash guards on hand that he lent us. Kioni took some video of us on our go pro which we appreciated! Mahalo for the memories!

Foiling - learn in a great environment. - Steve is competent and experienced at getting beginner foilers up and riding - he's a little rough around the edges (perhaps frustrated by his assistant's absence and some mechanical challenges with the foil boards) but very competent. The lessons are quick and to the point and he rides around with you to give you verbal instruction then lets you run out the battery on the machine prior to your lesson completion - overall a pretty good deal to learn foiling in tropical waters!
