Astonished - Taught us a lot about farming and helped me with my knife skills, the tacos were great, and for the first time I tried banana ice cream and it was satisfying.

Farm to taco to mouth - A lot of fun, in a beautiful setting. It was nice and breezy with a tasty meal at the end. The class had enough hands on with the right amount of instruction.

A Maui experience not to miss - We recently took the Farm to Taco class at Lā Kāhea Farm in Maui and it was brilliant - thanks to the wonderful Janelle and Catherine. Janelle led the farm tour with warmth and passion, making everyone feel welcome as she shared her deep knowledge of the land and the beautiful produce we harvested. Her enthusiasm was infectious and really set the tone for the day. Catherine then guided us in the kitchen with enthusiasm and skill, showing us how to make fresh tortillas and assemble the most delicious, vibrant tacos. She kept things relaxed and fun, ensuring everyone felt confident and involved. Together, they created a fantastic atmosphere. It was friendly, informative, and joyful. The food was incredibly fresh and flavourful, and the whole experience felt like a genuine connection to Maui’s land and community. A definite highlight of our trip 🌮

Best mango ever, and super fun hosts - This was an awesome experience and the food was amazing. Best mango I’ve ever tasted. Katherine was a superb host with a good sense of humor and it was so rewarding to harvest and make a meal from scratch with farm harvested produce. Would definitely do this again.

A Fun and Fabulous Farm to Table Experience! - We so enjoyed our cooking class with Winsome and her assistant Catherine. It was a unique and very farm-like experience. We got to harvest some of the items for our lunch right off the farm and Winsome gave an excellent tour and explanation of the farm vegetation we got to tour. The explanations during our food prep were thorough and clear. We each had a great cooking station set up to prep the items we were contributing to the feast. I think one of my favorite things was pressing the sugar cane to extract juice. It was SO yummy! Winsome was a delight and gave us so much information during our time with her. The tacos and tortillas were taro based and just delicious! We wholeheartedly recommend this Farm to Table experience for everyone!

Spring Solstice Cooking & Eating Feast filled with Aloha - Amazing day on the farm, harvesting food for our taco feast, cooking and learning & generally having a blast. Spirit of Aloha surrounds this place and the team of Winston, Whitney & Jake. Sorry for the pun, but it was “taro-iffic”. Friends visiting were so happy to participate and make this a Spring Solstice adventure to remember.
