Best experience - This is the most amazing thing to do especially when traveling with 5 teens! They all had so much fun and they all agreed that was the best experience in our trip! Must do!

Lots of great FUN and instruction! - The four of us had so much FUN trying out surfing. Nick, the owner, made sure we chose a time that would be conducive to good waves for beginners. We signed up for a group class and had five people with two instructors. That allowed us some time to watch our friends in between going out ourselves. We preferred that since a semi-private or private would require you to be coming in and out for the entire hour and a half which we thought, for us, was too aggressive (we are ages 65-70). What we really liked and thought was super helpful was spending time on the beach practicing each step of getting up on the board. The instructors were very attentive and that practice time really helped make it easier once you got into the water. I wouldn’t hesitate to choose this company for a surf lesson. Look no further.

Great lesson - My friend and I came on one of the windiest days ever, but despite that and our frustration, the instructors never gave up on us and kept us motivated the whole time!

Highly recommend! 🌊🏄‍♂️ - We had the best time at our surf lesson today! The instructors were incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. They put a big emphasis on safety, which we really appreciated, especially as beginners. They were so patient and encouraging, and made sure every single person in our group got up on a board (which felt amazing!). You could tell they genuinely cared about us having a great experience, not just getting through the lesson. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip We were all smiling the entire time. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about trying surfing!

Great for beginners - A great beginner class! As someone who had never been on a surfboard before, I was standing and riding waves to the shore within the first half-hour. The instructors were relaxed and patient but also clear in their instructions. It was right on Ka'anapali beach, and the instructors picked out a section of the surf with the right-size waves and not too much traffic.

Windy but fun. - The guys were great and helped our family get the most out of surfing as beginners. Our daughters ended up going out the whole time, even after my husband and I tapped out, and they had a blast. The guys even saved a woman, not in our surf group, from drowning while we were out. Highly recommend this experience. It was really windy the day we were out but it was still a ton of fun.

DO IT!!! - Instructors were super friendly, funny, and clear with their instructions. They took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable and gave time for questions.

Best part of Maui was surfing - Amazing! The best part of our trip to Maui was learning to surf. Nick and Reef were amazing. They were great kind, patient, and gave great feedback. By the third wave we were up and standing! Overall, it was simply fantastic! We will definitely be back.

Instructor great - process not so great with viator. We problem-solved and worked it out. Overall - lesson was good. - Our instructor, Nick, was very good and patient. The communication between what was posted on viator, and what we received was not consistent and a little confusing as to where to meet up. Instructions were sent via email from viator, but they were not exactly correct - so we texted with our instructor and it was helpful. There should be a steamlined process of exactly where to meet. Viator told us what to look for and there was none of that. It was Nick on the beach - no table, no umbrella, etc. I'm glad we were able to get in touch with him -otherwise - we would have never been able to find him if following viator instructions. Also - viator should give directions and parking instructions. This is also something we had to figure out on our own. Lastly, what we signed up for included photography options. There are none.. I did not receive any instructions on how to get the "professional photography" that was promised.

DO NOT BOOK!!! - Tour operator was a no show, and has not answered the phone. I called a week before the lesson to confirm, I should have cancelled and switched then because he was rude on the phone.
