Good day on the Haleakala tour and half way on the road to Hana. - This was a very long day, which was expected. We got to see lots of Haleakala and most of the beauty of the Road to Hana, half-way, Guide was knowledgeable and loved the small group. Would recommend, especially if you want to take a day to see the highlights instead of 2! Highly recommend!

Great way to see Road to Hana & Haleakala NP - Really loved this tour - I had limited time to explore Maui, so I was happy to find a tour that lets you both experience some of the Road to Hana, and to get to see Haleakala National Park. Chad was a great guide, providing history and anecdotes at the different viewpoints and stops along the way and did a great job letting us know how much time we had at each location, and which was the best area to spend our time. The van is very comfortable, air conditioned and is outfitted with giant, clean windows so you can see the great views on both sides. There were several snack and drink options provided and he also had ginger candies for those who may get car sick from the turns. Really loved all the stops and the long, winding drive. You'll have a chance to stop in the visitors center at the national park, and there's a roadside shop you stop at where you can get banana bread or a sandwich halfway through the tour. He also lets you know when the bathroom stops will be, and makes sure everyone is comfortable and has what they need along the way. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Excellent overview of Maui - Very organized and well run tour. Our guide Chase texted us with exact instructions and was right on time to meet us at the harbor. The Mercedes van was very comfortable and they provided a cooler full of snacks and drinks for the whole trip- our little group of eight was well provided for. Chase gave us a wealth of information about all the sights and was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii and the flora and fauna on the island. The trip to the top of the Haleakala National Park was amazing and the waterfalls and views of the rain forest along the road to Hana were also impressive. There is an opportunity to swim in one of the waterfalls- none of us chose to but Chase jumped in from the summit- probably 40 feet- that was entertaining as well. Our final stop showed us an amazing collection of sea turtles sunning themselves on a beach. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and Chase was a wonderful guide.

Best combo of the two popular options - We went in a van with Chase as our guide. There were five of us, including 3 people picked up at different resorts and a couple from the cruise. Chase was fantastic - very personable, patient, full of knowledge, cheery in his disposition and just the nicest guy to have around. We weren't in the rush and Chase was generous with the time at different stops. We walked around the National Park stops as well as the top 0.25 mile trail in Haleakala in comfortable weather and didn't have to get up at an ugly morning hours or freeze at sunrise. We then proceeded to Hana and covered about 60% of the road. It was more than enough to experience all the major highlights, have a fantastic commentary, stop for lunch & get some sandwiches and hot food, and later have a swim and go back to the hotel. It was a long - 7:30 to 5 but so rewarding day! I am so glad to do it with Chase.

Stop scrolling and book NOW - We did this tour with Chase and Daniel. Don't think twice or look for other options. Book it and you will have a remarkable, memorable and OUTSTANDING trip. From the skilled driving over the entire trip, to the narration, to the time allotted for each stop, this tour was picture perfect. I wasted hours looking for others. We arrived on port on the NCL cruise. The logistics were as smooth as the experience. Chase and Daniel's care made sure we all got the absolute best out of the day including guiding us thru the slippery waterfall rocks. The sunset at the north shore was the perfect way to end an unforgettable day

Enjoyed our day trip to Haleakala and Road to Hana 1/2way! - It was nice not having to drive the Road to Hana ourselves. Chase and Daniel picked us up on time, provided snacks and water, were very friendly, informative and helpful…like when our son threw up during the trip. Speaking of which, use the Hana tonic preventatively…it really works for motion sickness that comes with all the twists and turns of this drive.

Our guide did a good job.... - Our guide did a good job. However, we skipped a stop at the observatory without any explanation. We started at about 9 am and finished at about 4.30 pm. So there should be enough time to make the stop. Otherwise, it was a fine trip.
