- Haleakalā National Park - Experience the breathtaking beauty of a sunrise from the summit of Haleakalā. Following this awe-inspiring moment, there are two stops within the park: a historic site and a secondary visitor center. Visitors will embark on a self-guided tour starting at the 6,500-ft. level, just outside the National Park entrance. Enjoy an exhilarating 15-mile bike ride down the volcano at your own pace, without the constraints of a group or convoy. Delight in the famous “Fabulous 29 switchbacks.” Afterward, a shuttle will transport you through Upcountry Maui to a spot just above Makawao Town. Cycle through the charming Upcountry Town of Makawao and continue biking back to Haiku. Guests can savor a “No Host Breakfast” in either Makawao or Haiku.

Totally worth it! - It was amazing, totally worth getting up at 2:30 am. Cole was amazing, who knew you could be so awake that early. He gave us tons of info in a really fun way!

Fun way to see sunrise. Highly recommend self guided tour. - It was a really fun way to motivate ourselves to wake up early for a sunrise. The gears and bike are in good condition. Our guy, Eddie Buddy, was funny and very knowledgeable. Most definitely appreciated him driving up the mountain in the dark when a bus load of us could barely stay awake.
The views are amazing during the bike down the mountain. Highly recommend the self guided tour because we can take our own time to bike and explore Makawao at our own pace.
Wish there is an offer on thicket jackets or blankets that we can borrow while standing there watching the sunrise.

Best Sunrise, Beautiful Bike Ride, Great Tour - The sunrise was breathtaking, the whole experience of the color changes is a spectacle. Dan was an awesome tour guide, very funny and knowledgeable, gave a great tour.
The top of the summit is very cold, definitely wear layers, you'll be able to leave your extra layers in the van for the switchbacks. You will need to take the layers for the second portion but you can use one of their backpacks or bring your own.
The bike ride was very fun. The road is tight but it is totally doable for almost all levels of rider. We did self guided and are not avod riders and we did fine. It was also raining on and off. The top does not get rain and at the switchbacks the weather was perfect, near the bottom we got rain and that sucked a little bit but they provided rain coat and jackets that are a resistant material. We had breakfast at Ohana Island Grindz and it was delicious.
Overall and awesome experience that I would reccomend to all!

A must-do in Maui - Well put together trip with a very knowledgeable and funny guide (Dan). We really enjoyed and would highly recommend! Sunrise was amazing - dress warm!

Memorable day. - Fantastic tour with Eddie. He really goes all out to make it a memorable day.
I’d turn around and do it again today but I need a nap first. That sun comes up really early.

Not reliable. - Don’t count on this company. Fine print says they can cancel if they don’t enough people…..find a more reliable charter company that understands sometimes the have to just make it work even if that means not making the money they expected.
