Incredible, Unique, Adventurous Snorkeling - One of the best excursions we’ve ever taken in Hawaii! This dolphin watching, whale watching (in the winter), and snorkeling trifecta was absolutely unforgettable. Marissa and Captain Dan picked us up right on Kaanapali Beach in front of Whalers Village at 7:15am. They had plenty of complimentary snacks, pastries, and drinks ready for us, which was such a nice touch. They took us to two different snorkel spots off Lanai, and the water was crystal clear. The marine life was incredible. On the way there and back, we saw an entire super pod of dolphins swimming and jumping around the boat. We also saw multiple humpback whales breaching right in front of us — unreal. If you’re looking for a unique experience away from the hustle and bustle while truly seeing what Hawaii has to offer, this is it.

Best snorkeling experience in Maui - the best snorkeling tour in Hawaii. Lanai is amazing for snorkeling. We saw lots of fish. The crew took us to two separate locations... one more amazing then the other. The expedition was very organized, nicest crew! My husband and I totally recommend it!

Well worth it. - We stayed in Lahaina so Lanai meant a hour less drive time to Molokini but about almost an hour longer boat ride. Trip was rough but boat is made to handle it. Reefs were fantastic and worth the trip. Staff was phenomenal. Much more personal than the big nboats.

Don't Miss Lanai! - Started well with good communication and loved the trip - Captain Dan is great and has so much history and humor, and we loved Nico as well! Saw several whales on our way out, had two fantastic snorkel stops and saw a massive spinner dolphin pod on the way back! Highly recommend!

Half day snorkel trip to Lanai - It is about an hour trip to the island. You snorkel for about an hour in the first spot, then move to a second location for about another hour. Then an hour trip back. The first spot had many tropical fish to see. Some of the guests saw a sea turtle as well. Second spot was good as well but I got a little seasick so make sure to take dramamine. On the way back, we saw a pod of about 50 spinner dolphins. Captain Dan was very experienced and helpful. His first mate Kono was very helpful and friendly and socialized with us a lot. They helped me feel better when I got sick as well. They had drinks and fruits and breads to snack on as well. The snorkeling equipment was in very good condition. Overall it was an outstanding experience even with getting seasick. I brought an underwater camera for some great pictures of the fish.

Fabulous snorkel tour - We got up very early for this snorkel tour and it was completely worth it. Dan took us to 2 wonderful spots to snorkel and then we were able to see about 30-40 spinner dolphins on our way back. Dan was a great captain - very informative about the gear and safety as well as making sure we were staying hydrated and fed. Crew member Konou was friendly and kept watch on us in the water. Both clearly wanted us to have a great time and we did. We highly recommend this tour!

Perfect day! - Half day snorkeling with Captain Dan was fantastic! Beautiful ride, fun watching the spinner dolphins frolic alongside our boat, and the snorkeling was other worldly!

Better for Snorkeling than whale/dolphin watching - Our focus on this trip was finding and photographing humpback whales and their calves. I booked three tours on different types of boats at different times of the day. I remembered from a previous trip that the channel between Lanai and Maui was a great place to find dolphins and whales. While the captain did find a pod of spinner dolphins near Lanai, we didn't spend as much time as I would have liked. He was clear that he would not stop for Humpback whales unless they were active at the surface. That said, he chose two excellent snorkel locations and positioned the boat to protect the guests from the fairly active waves that day.

More Snorkeling, Less Whale Watching! - The distance over the Lanai is a bit so of course the boat ride is what it is. But we stopped to look at whales way more than I would have liked. Wanted to snorkel longer, especially at the second site!

Try another more dependable vendor. - We received notice that our snorkeling tour was cancelled a couple hours after we had been sitting on the beach waiting for the boat to arrive to pick us up. Poor communication and service.
