Five Stars - If you’re thinking about doing the Road to Hāna, book with Maui by Storm, and if you can, ride in the Bronco. This tour was absolutely unforgettable and one of the best parts of our trip.
Riding in the Bronco made the adventure feel that much more special. It was rugged, comfortable, and the perfect vehicle for a day full of winding roads, waterfalls, and jaw-dropping views. We didn’t have to worry about a thing just buckle up, take in the scenery, and enjoy the ride.
Our guide was phenomenal, knowledgeable, funny, and full of local stories and hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. Every stop felt intentional and meaningful, from swimming in waterfalls to sampling local treats to learning the rich history and culture of the area. It never felt rushed or touristy just real, relaxed, and full of wow moments.
If you want to experience the Road to Hāna in a way that’s both exciting and effortless, Maui by Storm is the way to go. The Bronco is the cherry on top.

The Most Amazing Tour/Day/Private excursion Ever - We had the most AMAZING day with Kainani as our guide. She immersed us in the history and culture of Maui, while navigating the VERY windy and long Road to Hana (which I would not have wanted to do with anyone else driving, including my husband). Nani was excellent with our young son(who can be slow to warm up, he LOVED her), she took pictures for us, knew all the private and best spots for food, treats, fresh leis, beaches, waterfalls etc …The best part was she was also was hilarious and entertaining which was a bonus since I rode in the front seat to not get motion sick.. She truly loves the island and her job, she handled my nerves like a pro, and she granted all our wishes & then some. We wish we could have taken her home with us! We would not have had the same Maui experience without Nani! She treated us with the most extraordinary care and customer service. 10/10, just book! …Also, the SUV was clean, huge, and comfortable. She had great music, an ice chest, and we stopped in the morning to stock up. Just be sure to Bring extra **towels and bags(good sandals/shoes) for any hiking and for any beach time you stop for… and take non drowsy motion sickness meds and you’ll be just fine! Worth every penny

HANA - It's totally worth it. Our family had a blast on the Road to Hana Tour with Marc, our driver. He made our trip an adventure, taking us to all sorts of cool hidden spots. Thanks, Marc, for making it unforgettable!.

Best tour guide to Road To Hana! - Mark with Hawaii by Storm was absolutely unbelievable! He went above and beyond all of our expectations during our Road To Hana tour. We had our 6 and 8 year-old with us, and he made sure they were engaged and having fun the entire time. I highly, highly recommend requesting Mark he truly made our day unforgettable. We’re honestly so sad we only got to spend one day with him! He was hands-down our family favorite of this Hawaii trip.

Great Day!! - Our trip up the back country and down the road to Hana was an awesome day!! Our driver Nani was incredibly kind and we learned so much about Maui and Hawaiian culture. The stops along the way were perfect including stops at a bee farm and for some yummy coconut ice cream! Getting Huli Huli chicken and enjoying lunch right by the ocean was fantastic along with all the other breathtaking views. Thanks Nani and Hawaii Storms for the great adventure!!

Excellent Road to Hanna Private Tour (Odyssey Group) - The Road to Hana all day Excursion by Hawaii by Storm was an excellent experience. A group of friends from the Villa Vie Odyssey residential cruise ship signed up for this tour on the recommendation of another ship resident who is from Maui. From the very beginning, the tour company was very accommodating and waited for us as our ship arrival was delayed for an hour and a half. Our tour guide, Mark Silva was very friendly, cheerful, flexible, knowledgeable on Hawaiian history, and expressed an interest in getting to know his tour group. All in all it was a great experience enjoying the scenery on the winding road with ocean views on one side and the mountainside on the other. There were breathtaking views and several stops viewing the coast, several waterfalls, huge sea turtles on the beach, a delicious huli huli chicken lunch, a lava tube, a water blow hole, and a stop for Hawaiian farm to bar chocolates. I highly recommend this tour company and excursion. Next time I am in Maui and hopefully with more time, I will seek out this tour company for a tailored, more in depth private tour.

Amazing Road to Hana Experience - This was an unforgettable experience that my family and I enjoyed! Auntie Jaime was amazing and had a clear zeal for the island as a whole. She did an amazing job taking into account our young kids (5 and 8), my wife and I’s awe at the views, as well as my love for history and culture. We did the Epic Road to Hana and lucked out since the western road of the island had just reopened- the changes in ecosystems, views, and terrain just added to the beauty of Maui. We stopped in Hana for lunch and had some amazing pizza at Hana Farms. We did a private tour for our family of four and rode in a Bronco since that and Jeeps are our 5 year olds favorite. I wasn’t sure what to expect with our kids and such a full day in a car- but there are so many places to get out and enjoy plus with the open bronco and breath taking views, it was nothing like a full day of riding. The Road to Hana is a must and definitely worth doing as part of a tour - and Hawai’i by Storm did it perfect!

Epic Day with Dustyn - We did the full-day Road to Hana tour with Hawaii by Storm, and it was hands down one of the best things we did in Maui. Our guide, Dustyn, was awesome—super chill, super patient, and just a fun guy to hang with.
He let us kind of steer the day based on what we were into, but always had great suggestions that made everything better. You could tell he really knows the island and loves what he does.
Also… if you’re gonna spend an entire day in a car with someone you don’t know, you want it to be Dustyn. The guy’s just easy to be around. And the vehicle was spotless and super comfortable, which made the whole drive even better.
Can’t recommend this tour enough. It was a 10 out of 10 day.
