Fun experience for families! - This was a fun experience! We had a clear night and seeing the stars before sunrise was great as well! It was cold and you do stand for quite awhile so be prepared. The bike ride down was a highlight of our trip! Everything was well organized and I would book through the your company again!

Great experience! Highly recommend! - Fantastic experience! From the start at 2:30am until we finished everything was great! The warm ponchos that were provided were a huge hit especially in the 30 degree weather. The bike ride doe was a blast that my teen boys said they’d get up again to go and do. Totally worth it!

Amazing One of a Kind Family Memory - Family 17 amd 15 and wife were a little unhappy with the 130 wake up from the Sheraton. Yet at the end they were super grateful as the experience was so worth it! Our driver Everett was super knowledgeable of his home. We learned so much during those early hours and it was a peaceful ride to the top. The sunrise was breathtaking. Definitely windy and cold but so beautiful. He made us feel safe about the ride down on bikes and he was right as the ride down with Joe was easy peasy and pretty and fun. Joe was super funny and je and Nani made the whole experience a hit for all of us. The donuts, coffee and bagels at the town were delicious. We were home by 11 and ready for afternoon naps! Great experience. Highly recommend. THANK YOU! Chris Morse

Breathtaking sunrise, exhilarating ride - The group leaders are professional and courteous. They do a good job of keeping the group together and safe. My teenage daughter decided it wasn’t for her, and she decided to ride the van down. One of the staff sat with her in the bus and talked to her. There are parts of the ride that are equal parts scary and exhilarating. I’ve done this twice, including back when you could literally ride down after sunrise. (Now you have to take a van out of the park before you can start riding.) I’m 55 now, so I probably will not do this again, but I recommend doing this at least once if you enjoy bike riding. If you just want to see the sunrise, you can do it on your own or just do a sunrise tour.

Very unsafe, not worth the money, I wish I had read a review like mine before booking. - While the view from Haleakala was beautiful and Maui itself is stunning and magical (which is the only reason I did not give 1 star only), I would absolutely NOT recommend this tour. The bikes you receive are in extremely poor condition with no gears, terrible breaks and they generally feel extremely unstable. Also, please do some research into these bike tours before booking, I wish I had. Multiple people have died due to the windy road and the many cars buzzing up and down - many tourists inexperienced in both driving the windy road or biking in general. On our trip a girl participating in a similar biking trip with another company fell and broke her femur so there were many ambulances. You are not able to drive from the top to the bottom due to these bike tours being banned in certain portions including the National Park so a bus provided us with bikes outside of the National park and we biked down a stretch (I think it was about 7 miles) before we were loaded in the van to bike that same stretch again and then loaded back in the van to a small village to then bike back the last 15 minutes. This is not how this tour was advertised and also defeats the point of driving up and then biking down. The tour guide, Joe, was also very glib, especially about safety, and it all felt in very bad taste. In addition to the hundreds of dollars my husband and I spent to go on this tour that also, by the way, provided NO jackets, backpacks or gloves as advertised, they are very pushy about adding on 15-20 percent gratuity, which I thankfully did not cough up, even though I am usually very hesitant not to tip even for bad service. I highly do NOT recommend this trip, please save your money and your bones.
