1. Choose your kit, either the pearl kit or the puka shell kit, and find a seat.
2. Enjoy refreshments including Hawaiian fruit snacks, tea, and coffee. The studio is BYOB-friendly, so feel free to bring your own drinks and settle in as the class begins with some Hawaiian history.
3. Jewelry making starts with an introduction to the materials: pearls, puka shells, jewelry metals, and findings.
4. The instructor will guide and assist as needed, demonstrating the correct use of tools and sharing trade secrets at each step until you achieve success.
5. Once your first necklace is complete, you may have the chance to create a second necklace with additional supplies from your kit, time permitting.
