With small group sizes, enjoy a more personalized experience! Gear, instructions, and guided snorkel tours are provided. Keep an eye out for turtles while snorkeling, and search for the spinner dolphin pod that inhabits Lana’i waters – there’s a 70% chance of spotting them. Delight in locally made, world-famous banana bread with Lilikoi (passion fruit) spread!

Mala Boat Ramp in Lahaina is located off of Front St. Please park along Front St or at the Cannery Mall and walk toward the Jesus Coming Soon sign, then toward the ocean. We meet next to the broken pier. Check in is at 7:30, please give yourself enough time to park, use the restroom, and check in!

Fantastic crew, Emma and... - Fantastic crew, Emma and Lani were amazing! The snacks/drinks provided were yummy! Lani and Emma provided safety and Oceanic education! Would book again!!! smaller boat for a great size for snorkeling. Boat provided storage for our belongings to keep dry too!

A great time with great hosts 😊 - It was a beautiful morning experience. We had a small group of five plus our hosts Emma and Heidi.
During the trip to Lana’i the sky was clear and the sights gorgeous. It was nice to learn about the island’s history. The waters off of Lanai were shockingly salty and unfortunately a little rough with the winds that hitting the area that day. Unfortunately, our son got sick and had to stop snorkeling due to the choppiness of the water. I really appreciated how both Heidi and Emma showed him kindness and tried to help him feel better through his embarrassment.
On our way back to Maui we were able to experience the “show” of a lifetime as there were multiple pods of dolphins surrounding the boat, racing and showing off their acrobatic skills.
Luckily the waters off of the coast of Maui for the second snorkeling spot were much calmer and we were able to enjoy swimming with the turtles and seeing sharks, urchins, fish and an eel.
Even though our son got sick in the beginning he voted the experience as the best part of our trip to Hawaii. I’d definitely recommend the trip to anyone.

Worth ever Penny don’t even hesitate to book it - This was one of the best experiences I have had in Maui and have visited well over 20 times. The all woman crew has it going on ‘ they know the ocean and were very patient will all the guest who had limited snorkeling experience! Boat is comfortable and well maintained ! Snacks were awesome’ all around great morning on the water

Our Visit to Maui Would Not Have Been the Same! - My Maui snorkeling tour was incredible! The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, making me feel safe and comfortable even as a nervous, first-time snorkeler. They provided flotation devices and constant reassurance which made me feel relaxed enough to see all the dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, and coral! The entire experience was well-organized and I felt genuinely cared for. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, regardless of their swimming ability; it was magical!

Would recommend without hesitation! - Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! Emma and Laini were not only expert guides but also incredibly welcoming and attentive. The snorkeling sites were breathtaking! The equipment was in excellent condition, and the boat was comfortable, spotless, and well-maintained. You can tell the crew genuinely cares about both safety and guest experience. Easily the highlight of our trip to Maui. Would recommend without hesitation!

A day to Remember - What an incredible day we had with Captain Emma, and first mate Lexi. They were very professional, and enjoyed sharing information about the culture and our beautiful surroundings. Unlike most tours, you didn’t feel like you were getting a canned dialogue. They eagerly addressed our questions and added Interesting insight. Our trip to Lenai was quick and beautiful. The snorkeling was beyond our expectations. There were more fish than we could’ve imagined and the coral was pristine. Watching hundreds of tropical fish swimming as if they were choreographed is a site I will never forget. On our return trip we were joined by hundreds of dolphins. They surrounded our boat and entertained us for about a half an hour. Once we were back almost to the Lahaina Harbor, we snorkel near the old pineapple dock that is collapsing into the ocean. The underwater structure is providing a base for a “young” coral reef. It was very healthy and beautiful. Lexi dove down and encouraged three sharks to swim out from under a concrete form. I never in my life thought I would be swimming with non-aggressive sharks. It was quite interesting watching them. We also saw turtles and more fish.
As a sidenote, we learned from a resident that Emma and her co-owner and wife Chrissy are quite involved in the rebuilding and healing of Lahaina. We are so grateful to them and glad that we were able to enjoy our day provided by such sweet people and a locally owned business.

The Best Snorkel Tour company on Maui! - We had an amazing adventure with Captain Emma & first mate, Allison. Although billed as a snorkel trip, by happenstance we came upon a whale who sauntered up to the boat & put on a dazzling show of splashing around for 30 minutes.
I've been on many snorkel tours in Maui over the years, and this, by far, is the best company. First, they take safety super seriously. We had been scheduled the day before, but Captain Chrissy called to tell us it would be too windy. The next day was perfectly calm, so we were very happy to wait a day. Second, they are really helpful to novice snorkelers, having great patience & giving expert advice. Third, they really know the waters & wildlife & took lots of time to educate all of us. I can't recommend Maui Ocean Adventures enough!

Best Day Ever - “Snorkeled off of Lanai and saw lots of fish I hadn’t seen on Maui. Saw dolphins. Boat ride was fun and comfortable. The Banana bread and fruit were delicious.”

Awesome MOA Lana’i Snorkle - Thank you MOA for a truly memorable experience for our family! We have been on many Maui boat tours over the years and Captain Emma and Allison were by far the most genuine, kind, and knowledgeable. Canceled tour without comms - We booked a snorkel and dolphin tour. We were there at 8:00 but they didn't come! We called them many times and they didn't pick up the phone! When they picked it up at 8:30 they said the tour was canceled because there were only 2 of us. Totally unacceptable. This was our honeymoon and they ruined this day.
