Highlight of our trip! - Our almost 10 year old had the private lesson and absolutely loved working with Dustin. It was definitely a highlight of the trip. We had a semi-private lesson for me and our 15 year old which was also fantastic. They focused on technique and safety, but also made sure we were having a blast. Everyone was really personable and after each run, the instructor gave a tip to make the next one even better. I didn't know a photographer would be on site, but that was a perfect add-on to capture the memories. We'll schedule with them again on our next visit to Maui!

10 out of 10 - Maggie and her team were amazing!! This was a highlight of our trip to Maui. My kids had the best day learning to surf. The instructors were kind, knowledgeable and patient- can’t wait to do this again!

- Our two grandsons, 5 1/2 and 9 1/2 had private lessons. Jay (the 9 1/2 year old) was with Andrew and Matthew (the 5 1/2 year old) was with Jedi. Both instructors were AMAZING. They each assessed their kid, Andrew figuring out what Jay needed to improve, and Jedi, figuring out what Matthew needed to get comfortable in the ocean and on the board. I can't say enough about these two instructors. They were present, engaged, fully attentive, patient. And of course, masters of their boards and the ocean. The boys both felt confident and happy when the lessons were over, and felt like they both now had a cool, new, older brother.

Safe and Fun! - My 8 y/o daughter and I did private surf lessons and I'm so glad we chose Maui Surfer Girls for her first time surfing. Her instructor, Sloane, was so kind and gentle and was with her the entire time, ensuring her safety while also having a blast. My instructor Rick was also amazing and made us feel safe and excited to get on the waves. Seeing my daughter's confidence soar as she tried something new was a 10/10 experience. Book MSG for your next surfing adventure!

Surfs up on Maui Surfer Girls! - Wonderful experience with Sloan.
She has patience with the under 12 group and private. My family lives here on Maui and we drove by 4 surf schools just to be with the Maui Surfer Girls.
Send your boys too. We loved it and staff. Looking forward to our next lesson

Definitely Experienced the Magic Maui Surfing Has to Offer! - Thanks to my instructor I was riding my own waves by the end of the lesson and felt comfortable enough to rent a board and try again on my own the next day!
My instructor, Jedi, was knowledgeable and experiential. He helped me find my confidence while still engaging me in my growth edges. Feeling inspired to come back for a surfer retreat immersion with Maui Surfer Girls this winter!

Awesome Surfing Experience - I had a blast surfing with Raul this week! He did a great job teaching me all best tips and tricks to not only be successful out in the water, but how to be safe while surfing! This was definitely a highlight of the trip and I’m so glad that I did it! I was able to successfully get up and surf waves. If you are on the fence, book the surf lesson… you won’t regret it!

Awesome first lesson with Kelly - My 7yo boy is super interested in swimming and water sports. He had never surfed before. I booked a private lesson with Kelly for him.
She was SO kind and skilled at explaining surfing in a way he could understand and practice. Kelly had a lot of experience teaching kids and it showed. He had a great experience.
Amazing group and amazing lesson, I strongly recommend Maui Surfer Girls and Kelly.

Great Experience - 4 teenagers from our trip took a surf lesson and everyone loved it! The instructor was clear and supportive. Every girl was up on the board multiple times and would want to do it again in the future. Pictures from the photographer were great, and allowed us to just watch the lesson.

Surfing with Jedi !!! - So glad I found Maui Surf Girls for my 11 year old grand daughters first surf experience. She has high anxiety but Jedi was perfect for her. She had the best time and was up on her board quickly with his guidance. She came out of the water with the biggest smile and we ended up scheduling another date during our trip. Everyone encouraged her and were amazing but I highly recommend Jedi again. Loved the pictures the photographer took also.
