Excellent Experience - Highly recommend! - Such a nice experience. I don't love touristy boat trips but this team really made the experience nice and treated us like adults. Even took us to an extra location that I'd never been to before which was amazing.

Fantastic family fun - Friendly staff, great food, overall fantastic family fun. Would highly recomend it. We also saw lots of whales so it was so much fun.

10/10 Snorkeling Trip - Staff was so great, the boat was clean and had just the right amount of people onboard, which made the experience 10x better then being on a crowded boat. They took us to a perfect snorkeling spot and even made a point to stop and see whales when we could, ended up seeing various whales and 6 whales breaching the water, such an amazing experience! They also gave us breakfast, lunch and snacks which was another reason why we chose this charter. Would definitely recommend this excursion!!

Sail Maui Excursions - Great trip as always. My wife and I take two trips each year with Sail Maui when we come to Maui. Eighteen trips over the past 11 years and every single trip with Sail Maui has been great. No over-crowding on the boats. Wonderful spots to snorkel and all the crews on the boats are fantastic. Could not recommend them more!

Great experience highly recommend - Great crew, good food, nice boat, and excellent snorkeling, with a bonus of whale Watching and sailing. The snorkel gear was all in new condition and the cruise is very helpful in equipping out the people who needed it.

Highlight of our Trip - We enjoy Sail Maui every time we go to Maui. In fact we started going when it was Paragon Sailing. Although it's the sailing we enjoy the most, this time the wind did not cooperate (there was none) but the captain changed tack to give us the best whale show. Kind, courteous and knowledgeable crew, we always feel like we are in good hands aboard their sailing vessels. The boats are never crowded and the lunch was superb catered by Fork & Salad - a great restaurant.

Beyond 5 star Review for Sail Maui's Whale Watching and Snorkeling Tour! - Five-Star Whale Watching and Snorkeling with Sail Maui! I've been visiting Maui for years and have taken countless tours (probably 30 or so with 6-8 different companies!), and I can honestly say Sail Maui's snorkel and whale watch on February 7, 2025, was one of the best experiences I've had. From start to finish, the entire crew exuded the true spirit of Aloha. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. A special shout-out to Dakota and James, who went above and beyond to take care of all the guests. Their attentiveness and positive energy really made the trip special. And our captain? Absolutely brilliant! They were a whale-whisperer! They expertly navigated the waters and kept us in prime position to witness some truly breathtaking whale activity. We saw so many whales, and the captain's knowledge and enthusiasm added so much to the experience. The snorkeling was also fantastic, with great equipment and a beautiful location. But it was the combination of the incredible whale sightings and the exceptional crew that truly set Sail Maui apart. They're in the top echelon of Maui tour operators, doing everything right with genuine Aloha style. If you're looking for an unforgettable whale watching or snorkel tour on Maui, I wholeheartedly recommend Sail Maui. You won't be disappointed!

Overall good experience despite a couple of hiccups - My wife and I had a good experience with this tour, despite a couple of hiccups. The good: - The boat is great, plenty of space to sit and/or lounge - Molokini is amazing and the snorkeling was excellent - Most* of the staff are exceedingly nice and helpful - Tons of whale sightings along the way to and from the crater (mid-March) The bad: - All communications that we received from Sail Maui via Tripadvisor indicated that the tour started at 7:30am. This includes the confirmation email which clearly listed 7:30am as the start time, and the subsequent waivers that we signed. So we showed up at 7:30am only to find out that they actually expect you to arrive 30-40minutes prior, and that 7:30am was actually the departure time. So after receiving a phone call from the boat staff telling us we were late and that the boat was departing, we had to sprint from our car to the boat to make it on time. We were greeted with "you're lucky we're running late" instead of "we're sorry that the listing on TripAdvisor isn't correct" which wasn't great - There was a moment where one of the staff members was pretty rude to us with a comment that she made about our sunscreen. What could have been a teaching moment about reef-safe sunscreen ended up being a low-light of our experience
