Pride of Maui offers exceptional boat tours on Maui, featuring outstanding amenities such as two restrooms, a water slide, submerged boarding ladders, warm showers, a large hardwood bar, and over 2,500 feet of open deck space. Snorkel equipment, flotation devices, and optical masks are provided, eliminating the need to rent these items for the excursion. Enjoy a full 3.5-hour whale watching experience combined with snorkeling at a stunning coral reef.

Check-in is at Ma’alaea Harbor North Loading Dock, left of Coast Guard Station.
Harbor parking is across from Carl’s Jr. before the Ocean Center. The price must be paid by credit card. The parking lot is walking distance (5-6 minutes) to the dock.

Great snorkeling trip! - Great snorkeling tour. Your staff informed everyone with knowledge of how to snorkel and offered help to those new to snorkeling. The boat was very clean and the ride was smooth. The breakfast and lunch were just right. There was plenty for all!
The snorkeling site was great! Saw lots of fish, sea turtles and even an eel!

Highly recommend the tour! Whale watching & snorkelling in 1 tour a huge bonus. Amazing crew who thought of everything! - Absolutely loved this tour. Staff was amazing in every way. We saw whales and snorkelling was a blast! Highly recommend

Excellent experience for the whole family - We had a great time. Our family has 9, 15, and 18 year old boys and my wife and I. All three boys rated it 5/5, and so did my wife and I. The captain and the staff on the Pride of Maui were very accommodating and were totally chill.
We saw a lot of whales breeching she were not disappointed with the amount whales we saw. The snorkeling was good too. We didn't see any sea turtles but saw a lot of fish.
The food was good and the beer and Mai Tais for the parents were tasty.
We'll definitely come back whenever we're back on Maui.

Best part of our trip - This was such a fun time!!! One of the best things we did on the island. My mom and I were really wanting to do a whale watching tour, AND snorkeling, but both of my kids were very uninterested in whale watching. This was the perfect compromise and combination of both. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. EVERY SINGLE ONE. The head of the tour got us to incredible spots for whales and was super knowledgeable while making you feeling like he was just chatting with you, not giving a memorized speech. My kids had never been snorkeling and my daughter was very uneasy. They helped with that, gave us floating devices and were super patient with her. When I got her in the water she had a moment of panic and while I was calming here down, out of the corner of my eye I could see one of the young ladies just watching in case she needed to help get her back in the boat. I felt like they were keeping an eye on my child, not just me. Both kids ended up loving it btw and my daughter and I stayed out the entire time we had available to us. She was in heaven and it was her favorite part of the trip. I can't recommend them enough!

Pride of Maui amazes us every time! - You are in the absolute best hands when you book an excursion with the Pride of Maui tours. We have taken many snorkeling tours over the years but ever since our first Pride of Maui experience 5 years ago we use them exclusively.
We have traveled as a couple, with an event group, as our smaller family, with our extended family and with our friends and their family and everyone agrees that Pride of Maui is the best.
Their customer service is top notch,
Their crew is incredible with kids and reluctant swimmers, the food and drinks are always yummy and as someone who gets boat sick, their onboard ginger concoction gets me out to reef and snorkeling every time.
This year was different, and I wasn’t able to make it off the boat due to illness but I still had an amazing time watching my family enjoy the experience.
I also appreciate that no matter who the crew and captain are our experience is always consistently superior…
Truly do yourself a favor and book a trip with Pride of Maui, and you will be like us, and continue to take your family back again and again:)

Over the top experience! - They worked hard to create a positive experience. In addition to burgers they added cookies, pineapple, chicken and drinks. During snorkeling, they were out with us finding turtles, etc. whale watching: they knew where to go, very educational, and brought us close in. For me, it was an over the top experience!

Great day trip and saw lots of whales - Saw lots of whales. The captain educated us on them, it was really interesting. Burgers ,chips and drinks for lunch. Snorkeling was ok, pretty cloudy due to conditions. Nice they offer wet suit tops for $10. All the staff were really nice and helpful. I would do it again.

This was a great... - This was a great experience! Saw quite a few whales which was why I booked this excursion. My husband and friends participated in the snorkeling and they said it was difficult to do without getting kicked. There was another boat in the same area, which we were told was leaving, but didn't. Entirely too many people in the same small area to snorkel enjoyably. They did say they saw quite a few fish but no turtles. I would definitely recommend for the whale watching as the captain made sure to go where they were

Cancelled Twice! - We booked a trip for Wednesday on the Pride of Maui (POM) and it was cancelled. At POM's request we rebooked for Monday. That trip was cancelled due to weather. We called Four Winds and they had a Wednesday trip available which was our original choice. Imagine our surprise when we got to Molokai Crater and we were moored next to the POM !!!!
Save yourself some grief and book with Four Winds. The trip is 2 hours longer, the boat is newer (8 months old), the crew was amazing, and the food is fresh and tasty. The Four Winds III tour is perfect for people who are not very comfortable in the water. As for whale watching we saw multiple groups of whales, dolphins, an octopus and a monk seal!
Four Winds III is the way to go!
