Amazing Road to Hana experience! - My husband and I loved our Hana tour experience! Our tour guide Paula, was so knowledgeable about the sites we saw along the way, and about Hawaiian culture. We saw waterfalls, a black sand beach, delicious banana bread, and rainbow eucalyptus trees, to name just a few! We were so comfortable with leaving this challenging drive to an expert who would also tell us the history of the area and island. The bus was comfortable and offered great views. We can’t recommend this trip enough!

Absolutely the best - The views were amazing our tour guide Travis was the absolute best. He was interactive, called everyone by name and how he put in the waterfall singing each time we passed a fall was very knowledgeable and kept it fun and interactive. He included everyone! So glad we booked .

BEST MAUI TOUR - My family and I had a great time. We really enjoyed learning about the island and the local culture. We highly recommend Spencer. He is a great guy who made us feel welcome and always wanted to make sure we were enjoying the ride. I hope you all will choose to book a trip!

Take this tour - We filled the whole bus with a family outing led by Travis. His local roots and historical perspective, combined with his familiarity with the road, the sights, and the people you meet along the way created a memorable and worthwhile experience. I definitely recommend having someone else do the driving and talking if you are on the island and doing the Road to Hana. Tour came with a breakfast and lunch stop which was great and covered literally half the day. Travis works hard and we appreciated him.

Uncle Joe is the best! - Uncle Joe is an amazing tour guide. We learned so much about the history and sights along the Road to Hana. He was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to the flora, and fauna on Maui, as well as an expert on Hawaiian culture. We also learned about Joe and his family. It was never boring!

Overall a good experience - It was a good tour. I couldn't understand our driver the entire time. And there was a mishap with forgetting to drop off other passengers. Food was ok and I should have definitely brought snacks. But overall tour was great. Enjoyed myself at all the destinations.

Spectacular scenery, but impersonal tour in an old van with terrible air conditioning. - The Road to Hana is a breathtaking spectacle. Beautiful coastlines and rainforest all around. The tour with Valley Isle Excursion offers views of the major highlights, but you have to be prepared to spend most of your time in the van. The latter is unfortunately showing its age. The very loud air conditioning is mounted above the driver's cabin and constantly blows cold air onto the passengers. Unfortunately, the fan speed cannot be reduced significantly. For me, with a tendency to sinusitis, this was a disaster. The driver drives safely along the winding road, but is very abrupt. There's hardly any personal interaction. There's no question about whether you, as a non-native English speaker, have understood everything or whether you can help out in any way. You're not allowed to leave the property of the food vendors for lunch because there are no waiver options for them. This is beyond ridiculous. I'm traveling around the world and have done about 20 tours in the last few weeks. This was the most impersonal and, due to the air conditioning, the most unpleasant of them.
