An Exceptional Road Trip to Hana - I had my Road to Hana adventure with Donovan in February, during a particular rainy day, and it was fabulous. Not only is Donovan an experienced and professional guide; he is chill, compassionate, easy to talk with, and full of helpful and insider information re: Maui and Hawaii in general. I learned from him so much about local norms (i.e., driving along those switchbacks and one-lane bridges), legends, flora and fauna, and....good bathroom stops. It was very much a customized tour - and he managed a couple of special requests for me. I always felt safe, he customized the day for me; it was a most excellent way to spend a day on Maui. Thank you to Susan and Donovan for an very special, unforgettable adventure.

Aeesome tour - Donovan was an excellent guide and we loved the diversity of experiences along the way. From off- the -beatwn path restaurants and snack shops to stunning landscapes, it was wonderful. We highly recommend this tour!

Best trip. Best tour guide Katlyn - This was so much fun. Our tour guide Katlyn was the best. Took us to all the great spots and even took us to a shop to get gifts made by locals on the island. ( I love to shop locally made items when traveling). She took lots of pictures of us at different stops. Something that does not happen alot with other tour companies. We laughed and talked and shopped seen all the beauty of Maui. It's like we knew each other forever. Would definitely do this company again. And Katlyn till we meet again. Your the best. ALOHA.

I'm so glad I booked my Road to Hana Tour with Awapuhi Adventures!!! - What a great experience! I learned so much about Hawai'i and had the opportunity to see many sites and natural wonders that I'm sure I wouldn't have discovered on my own. I appreciated having a local to drive me so that I could enjoy the view. Our driver had tons of knowledge about the area!

We chose the 1/2 day private tour after reading reviews, Donavan was a great driver - I have a tendency towards motion sickness having a private driver and 1/2 day experience was perfect choice for us. We added on the hotel pickup and drop off option as well.

You can stop looking...book here! - Sometimes, a group tour is great. Other times, you want to customize a tour that fits what you need/want at that time. After I sent an email asking for this type of set-up, Awapuhi was quick to respond. The process was everything you would expect (good communication, easy to pay, contact on who/where, nice van). Perhaps the big thing was our guide. DONOVAN was great. He made our day. Even pulled off a trick to get us the dinner we wanted. Mahalo to you!!
I hope I have the opportunity to book with this group again.

Excellent Halfway to Hana Tour! - Yesterday we did the Halfway to Hana tour with Trena. Trena was excellent and a wealth of information. She made sure to take us to all the good sites while also taking into account our 21 month old that we brought along. The views and activities were great. Would highly recommend this tour!

Don’t Miss This Tour!!! - If I could give this tour 10 stars, I definitely would. This was the best tour we went on in Hawaii. Our tour guide was named Trena. What a gem! The entire day had the best vibe. Trena was so knowledgeable and we asked her a lot of questions. She stopped at the most amazing places and we were never rushed. I will never forget this day.
