Had an awesome surf... - Had an awesome surf lesson with Ivan and Francisco! They were super helpful, patient, and made everything easy to understand. They kept the vibe fun while still giving great tips that actually helped us improve. Definitely recommend them if you’re looking to catch some waves and have a great time!

Fun surf lesson - caught lots of waves - We had a great experience with surf shack! Our instructor was Nani who was great - very clear and patient. They provide rash guards and water shoes, which was great bc the cove was quite rocky. We went with our kids ages 12 and 14 and everyone caught multiple waves! This was our second time trying but the kids enjoyed this better than Waikiki. The cove is shallow, water is warm, the waves were gentle and rolling. Each instructor has 4-6 people so everyone had a turn every few minutes. We would definitely come back!

Fun in the surf! - The Surf Shack team (Sophia, Ivan and Mike) were great. Our group all got up on the boards and surfed, many of us for the first time.

Amazing, must do, instructor Willow 5+ stars - Amazing experience, customer focused, safe and fun! You can do this!! Willow, the world’s greatest surf instructor will make it so. The company is professional and makes it easy for you. Great reminders, clear instructions on how to get there, easy and free parking, equipment and pictures taken care of. Just show up with your sunscreen and open attitude , they will do the rest. It really is a teachable/learnable activity. I’ve never surfed/snowboarded/skateboarded and I’m a 55 yr old female… got up first time in group lesson because I was set up to succeed. It was a highlight of my trip! I went solo and everyone was welcoming as we are all learning something new together. I also think that Willow set the tone for positivity. Willow you are the greatest! Thank you!!

Such a great experience - This experience was incredible! The instructors were patient, encouraging and kind. By the end of the lesson my 9 year old was catching her own waves. Highly recommend!

Fantastic beginner surf... - Fantastic beginner surf lesson! Directions to the park and finding the group were spot on with pictures send ahead of time to find the right group. Easy check in with lots of helpful staff to get checked in and and ready for the lesson.
Calm waves that were perfect for a beginner. Patient teachers helped the kids (18 and 14) be able to get up on the board and surf! They even had a photographer in the water taking pictures of you wanted to purchase them after the lesson. Overall a great experience.

Must do! Never too old to learn - Instructor was so attentive and helpful! We all got up on our first tries! There was a photographer who was so helpful and also took amazing action shots!

Surfing lessons🤙 - Experience was great. A little crowded between groups but lots of fun. It was a shallow beginner friendly area. Everyone was able to catch their first waves.

A lot of fun - Friendly, nice, and knowledgeable instructors. Timeliness was not the best, but maybe that’s island time for you. Had everyone in the class surfing at all ages/levels. Loved it.
