Biking Paradise in West Maui - Picked up our bikes right around the corner from our Airbnb at 11:00 AM and spent the entire day exploring on e-bikes. The self-guided map was super easy to follow, and we managed to hit all the “hot spots” on West Maui in one afternoon.
We took the lower road to Napili Bay, stopped at the Sea House for a snack, and soaked in the incredible ocean views. From there, we continued to Kapalua, parked the bikes, and walked the trail to Dragon’s Teeth—an absolute must-see! The jagged volcanic formations and crashing waves make it feel like you’re standing on another planet.
Next, we followed the paved trail through the Ritz-Carlton down to the Burger Shack, where we enjoyed (what else?) delicious burgers. Don’t be surprised by the wild roosters and cats wandering around—it’s part of the charm here.
After lunch, we relaxed on the beach for a swim and quick siesta before heading back up Office Road into the hills and rainforest. The paved trails offered stunning island and ocean views all along the way.
Our return down Highway 30 was smooth and scenic with dedicated bike lanes and an easy downhill glide.
All in all: great time, great bikes, great views, and a great local business. Highly recommend! Aloha 🌺

Fun exploration! - So much fun riding bikes up and down the West Coast of Maui. Excellent explanation of the map and points not to miss by Nate. Wonderful way to spend a few hours!

Great bikes - We needed seven bikes and a child seat. Everyone was able to select the bike they preferred and instruction was given on operation. Had a great day riding.

Fun experience for the family! - We had so much fun doing this with our family! The bikes worked great, and it was fun to go through Lahaina / Kaanapali. Renting for 2 hours was perfect. The only thing was that we thought our 11 year old would be able to ride her own bike but found out you have to be 15, so she had to ride tandem. But it was still fun!

Bikes were great, service was friendly, incredibly causal. “Interactive map” was an exaggeration. - The bikes were great, the ride and tour was fun as always. The bike shop is part of a motorcycle and scooter rental storefront, but run by a separate person (Nate). Nate texted us to let us know he would be late for our rental time, and go is set with waivers over the phone. He was friendly and helpful in advising us on bikes to pick.
The experience advertised an “interactive map” for a self guided tour. Not sure what I expected, but the standard island tourist map was provided, and Nate made some markings on it with a sharpie. If we hadn’t done this ride before, it could have been challenging to know where to go, but overall was a fun afternoon for us.

Good but be warned - I didn’t know if we were in the right place because it looked a little sketchy but it was great! The bikes worked good and we had fun but we couldn’t go to many places because his bikes battery drained wayyyy faster than mine, it might be because he’s heavier but it was draining really fast unlike mine so who knows but the ride was smooth and it was really nice and wasn’t tiring, honestly, my butt does hurt though from the seats, they are not the most comfortable.

Beautiful place to bike, limited bike lanes. - First the guys at the bike rental were great. They showed us how to use the bikes, got the right fit and answered all our questions about the bikes. They gave us locks so we could lock them up, if needed (and we did). They also gave us a map, and some directions. Part of the lower road was in repair so we had to ride on the highway more than usual, but actually that felt safer as at least there was a 5-6ft shoulder to ride on. The other roads are very narrow & quite busy, so not always a relaxing ride. Unfortunately we were told we could not ride up and around the inland farms (which we really wanted to do). While we had fun, the area is really not bike friendly, we were expecting bike lanes, but they really don’t exist. You need to be comfortable with riding next to and among cars to do this.
We rented for a full day, while a half day would have been plenty. It’s no fault of the bike company, but be prepared for somewhat limited places to “safely” ride.
However, with all said, we were glad we rented the bikes & had the experience.

Bike - Bike was old. Given map find your own way. Hwy 30 then to a resort. Greasy burger but a nice day out. Thought I was on a tour. But was on my own.

Be aware, do not do business with these people - Do not go with teens. Nate had the information that my kids were older and even had their weights but didn't let us know until 20 minutes before our time on 12-31 that he had a 100lb limitation for passengers on the e bikes when we booked on 12-10. He called us while we were driving from our hotel 50 minutes away . Our only possible way of continuing was for us to leave one of our kids in the car. When I asked him about why he didn't inform us earlier about his passenger weight limit for the e-bikes, not the weight limit for the entire e bikes, he told me to take it up with Viator. Nate was quite rude and unprofessional. Also his phone number on the Trip Advisor site is disconnected. His poor reviews demonstrate this same behavior. Do not rent with Nate.
