best whale watch you can do on a raft - Best whale watch i ever been on . I got to see baby breaching with parent and got so close to the whales . we saw more whales in 2 hours then i have all together with other companies combined. It was worth every penny

Even though it was the... - Even though it was the end of the season, our captain and navigator got us to see humpback and spinner dolphins up close. Told us loads of information and trivia about whales. Highly recommend. Amazing experience.

Magical, knowledgeable & FUN! - We had the best time, unfortunately I have forgotten their names but we went yesterday (April 19 9am) and our tour was exciting (we initially had low expectations of seeing whales because of it being so late in the season but...) we saw a MOMMA & Baby! And a male partner! The whales came very close to our boat and we were so happy! It was sooo hot but the experience, totally made up for not having much shade. I really suggest bringing a hat, wearing sunscreen and doing a lot of research (I did). Thank you again for this magical experience, for your knowledge, for your expertise & for the connections that you've made with the other tours to get us close. Magical!

2 hrs Whale Watching with Amy and Marina - YES PLEASE!!!!! - OH my gosh! What an amazing experience! My husband and I did the 2 hr Whale watching raft tour with Ultimate. Amy and Marina were amazing. We saw so many whales! They were so knowledgeable and friendly and made sure everyone had a great time. It was something we will never forget. My only recommendation for anyone taking it is to take Dramamine the night before and the morning of. My husband and I always do - just to be on the safe side. It isn't worth not feeling great or getting sick out there. We were fine but there were others that were not. I will definitely book with Ultimate again. 5 stars from me! Thank you Amy and Marina!

Wonderful excursion! - Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable guides. We encountered a pod of spinner dolphins- such a fun experience! Watched a small group of whales as the guide narrated their behavior.

Great experience! We saw... - Great experience! We saw 5/6 whales upclose, including a mom and baby. Crew was very helpful and knowledgeable. I also highly recommend going on a whale watch on a smaller private vessel like this one (I believe it was approx 15 people). Its a much more personal experience, the entire smaller boat you have a great up close view. It also feels good to support a local small business. ! Casey and Levi are the coolest tour guides!

End of season whale watching - Fantastic trip. Small group (about 20) on the boat. Not crowded at all. Guides were extremely knowledgeable, personable and fun. Our captain and Casey worked with other guides in the area to find whales as it was later in the season. Saw a group of males chasing a female. Our guides did a great job of getting us into position so we all could see the whales. They explained behaviors and told us more about the marine environment of Maui. Ended on a huge breach! Perfect finale. Can’t say enough good things about this trip. The whole family loved the experience.

Great Guides=Great Experience - Jill and Cassie were super knowledgeable. We saw three whales-two males and one female. They explained the behaviors we were seeing and other aspects of the whales. The boat was a raft which you could hold onto the ropes on the pontoons or sit in the bench area that was covered. You might get a small bit of spray but normal clothing should be fine. I would be completely comfortable recommending this to my 80 yr old parents especially, since it was a great experience.

Nonstop whales! - Captain Lacey did it again...Whales whales whales for the entire 2 hour tour. We were so impressed with our 2 hour whale tour experience back in March of 2023 with Captain Lacey at the helm, that we were excited to book again this March of 2025. The tour was exciting, magical, and informative! We appreciate the crew feeling just as captivated by the whales as we did. Love the enthusiasm! We will be back!
