December-April: Each winter, the Humpback Whales return to the warm Hawaiian waters for their mating and calving season. While whales are protected in Hawaii and we adhere to federal regulations by not approaching them too closely, they often come near our small rafts, offering close and eye-level encounters. These interactions can vary in the wild.

May-November: Dolphins can be seen throughout the year, and our eco-rafts offer eye-level experiences. In November, we also begin searching for early-arriving whales.

Your tour includes a comprehensive narration of fascinating whale, dolphin, and Maui facts by our naturalist, the opportunity to listen to whale songs via a hydrophone, and plenty of photo opportunities!

During the summer months, search for dolphins, spot early season whales in November and May, and enjoy sightseeing during the off-season.

We are conveniently located in Lahaina, Maui, just a short drive from Kaanapali, Kahana, Napili, Kapalua, and other West Maui accommodations. It’s also a fun destination for visitors staying in Kihei or Wailea.
