Fantastic operation - If you are looking to get away from those big tourist trap whale watching rides, this is the trip for you. Private, spacious, and respectful vibes. Very competent and knowledgeable crew and captain- they knew when to be patient to get some pretty amazing interactions with the humpbacks. Will definitely be going with them from now on!

So…. many…whales!!!! - This experience surpassed our expectations. We saw so many humpbacks! Chrissy and 1st mate Sarah are extremely knowledgeable, the boat was clean comfortable and safe. Being in a smaller group was so much better than being crowded in with 50 other people. We were lucky and got to see a baby whale with its mother and crazy spinner dolphins along the way back to marina. There are many whale watching tours in Maui but you should book this one. Just this morning we heard Chrissy interviewed on NPR. Look up NPR and Maui Ocean Adventures :)

A lot of whales - It is a small company but the captain and crew are very passionate about whales! We saw so many whales! It was a great experience on a small boat!

Maui Whale Watching - Lahaina Strong - This was my 8th whale watching tour in Maui and it did not disappoint. I was hesitant to book with a new company but I couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The ladies that own Maui Ocean Adventures are fantastic knowledgeable, engaging and so thankful to be able to share their expertise with us. Then theirs story, they loss their prior business in the Lahaina fires and served as first responders rescuing people from the fire. Between the fantastic tour and their incredible story I highly recommend supporting Maui Ocean Adventures. Awesome whale watching, multiple breaches - We thoroughly enjoyed the pink boat whale watching. They were great from the front office, to the help at the pier to the boat. We saw half a dozen whales breach, had a baby whale swim around and under us and generally had a great time. They were very knowledgeable, answered our questions and had a passion for whales and for giving folks a great experience.

The Most Special Whale Watch in Maui - We spend a couple months each year on Maui and while some may think that its because of the immense beauty of the island, it's the people and community that keeps us coming back. Emma and Chrissy are now included in that list of people. Companies like MOA operate in a way that pays immeasurable respect to the land, the ocean and the people. We are seasoned whale watchers, contribute to whale conservation and research in both Maui and the PNW and I consider myself an honorary naturalist (since all us millennials wanted to be marine biologists as some point growing up) but watching with MOA is special and going out with them feels like the magical first time you spot a whale, every. single. time. Seriously, this year, we went twice in one week because we simply couldn't get enough. Captain Emma is such a bright and fun spirit that will be right beside you screaming from excitement when that whale surprises you with a breach, Captain Chrissy is such a seasoned captain that you just know walking on her boat that you're in the best hands and both of them along with their crew will be jammin to the best throwbacks and classic tunes while cruising the open water. Seriously, if you're looking for a safe and responsible whale watch that is not only the comfiest (and most stylish) ride but a fun time with incredible people - look no further. ALSO, Captain Macy Tugboat -- that golden retriever is what reeled me in and she is the most loved fixture around Mala (for good reason).

Awesome whale watch - We had a wonderful whale watch. We had tons of breaching and close encounters. Captain Emma was extremely knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a great experience. She even gave several cell phone camera tricks to make your photos and videos the best possible. Will definitely be whale watching with these ladies again in the future.

BEST WHALE WATCHING IN MAUI - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Hands down the best experience our family had during our trip to Maui! Captain Emma and whale whisperer Lexie were entertaining, accommodating, personable, so whale knowledgeable and down right incredible. They knew all the whale nursery’s and nightclubs out the water and made our first whale watching experience a core memory we will never forget! The pink boat was comfortable, clean and cozy - you could feel the heart and hard work the Maui Ocean Adventure family put into it! Our 7 year old daughter was in awe of the whale facts she learned from the ladies, and the co captain treatment was so special to her. We absolutely hope to return to Maui soon to see our Maui Ocean Adventure friends! Mahalo!!!
