Excellent private tour with a fantastic driver! - Excellent private tour with a fantastic driver!
We had an amazing experience with Chucky during our stay in Mauritius.
He was punctual, professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the island. The tour was perfectly organized, and he took us to some of the most beautiful places in Mauritius while sharing interesting information about the local culture, history, and daily life.
What we appreciated most was that he never rushed us. We had enough time at every stop, and he made sure we enjoyed the day at our own pace.
The communication before the tour was excellent, and everything was exactly as agreed. The price was very fair and the service exceeded our expectations.

Chucky’s taxis are our favourite! - We went out with Chucky’s taxis twice whilst out in Mauritius. We did both a tour of the North and a tour of the South. Our guides were Chucky (North) and Sahil (South). Both were fantastic; so pleasant, informative and patient. We have two girls aged 8 and 10 and the guides customised the tours to them in terms of length and activities. As adults, we learned so much from Chucky and Sahil about Mauritius, its history and the people who live there. We got some fantastic photos and the girls picked up some lovely souvenirs at the fixed price Port Louis craft market. Our drivers were safe and had air conditioned good quality vehicles. They were on time and couldn’t have been kinder to us if they had tried.

Top outing with a great driver/guide - Top outing to the sights as we wanted. Always recommendable. Great guide, a local who knows his way around and is familiar with the traffic.

Educational and beautiful excursion. - Quite a mixture of sites to see. Buddhist cultural complex was amazing plus the various geology/landscape formations were beautiful and educational. Devin, our tour guide, was helpful and shared plenty of cultural information.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience. I recommend 100%. This will be 8 h trip including the travel time from the hotel and back to so probably you have to cut from the list 1-2 attractions points depending how far is the pick up location so this is fair enough; we’ve prioritised the Chamarel waterfall and 7 Colour Earth and the Rum distillery( do not miss it because has amazing views not only rum tasting) but our driver made somehow and we managed to see most of the attraction;

Beautiful tour to the South West of Mauritius - This tour was operated by Emerald CAR Hire LTD. Our driver and guide Jevin was an excellent driver and guide and told us all about Mauritius
and also showed us special places on the island where we could take pictures. We look back on a very successful day.

An excellent taxi guide! - Chucky gave us an unforgettable day. He is incredibly kind. He is very cheerful, explained everything we needed to know about our trip in the south (Grand Basin, Chamarel, waterfalls...) and introduced us to an excellent restaurant. His car is very comfortable. Are you still hesitating? Do not hesitate any longer and go for it. You will not regret it!

Private Tour Experience in Southwest Mauritius - We took a private tour through the southwest of Mauritius. Kevin, our driver-guide, was punctual at the designated pickup location and time. As he explained to us, he is a native of Mauritius and is well-versed in its history, which allowed him to provide us with detailed explanations regarding the areas we visited. He also agreed to make some adjustments to the itinerary to accommodate my mobility challenges.
